I wouldn't want some random guy come next to me and try to take a picture with me.

Yeah, I'm with Tobey on this one. That guy was a jerk to just walk up to Tobey and take his picture with no warning or anything.

I'm kinda iffy on Maguire, he seems kinda dull from what little I've seen, and I almost gurantee he will never match his Spiderman success again, Course I'm not blaming him if he wants to quit, I'm just sayin

But he could go back to the kind of awsucks small film roles that suit him. Like his roles in The Cider House Rules and Pleasantville

Few are lucky to ever even touch that type of success let alone multiple times.

Hence why it's awesome they cast him as Peter Parker instead some 'cool guy'.
He was excellent in Pleasantville, but then I love that whole film.

I don't like the Spiderman movies at all but Tobey seems alright by me. I thought it was funny how cool he played it when Jared Leto tried to strangle him.

When I first heard the rumors of Gyllenhall possibly taking over, the only thing I'd seen him in had been a few minutes of Bubble Boy. Now though, I'd have to agree, guy can act.
And I should have qualified, I meant your typical hollywood block o' wood. Hell Freddie Prinze Jr. was lobbying for the part at one part. That woulda sucked.

After Donnie Darko, I could live a much better life without that dweeb popping up everywhere...worst movie I have EVER seen, bar none.

Considering Freddie Prinze managed to make Scooby Doo even more awful than it should have been(bless Linda Cardellini and her sexy Thelma for trying to make it not suck), I cannot begin to think how he would have been in Spider-man, or any super hero flick at that. He is like the new age Keanu Reeves. But with out Bill and Ted on the resume to give him "yeah but he was cool once" status.

Though if Marvel woulda made the flick in the seventies like they intially planned, the star woulda been interesting. Can ya'll guess who was #1 on the list to play him?

Hell, I actually think Bubble Boy is a testament to the kids acting chops. I mean, it's an absolutely ridiculous movie, but it felt like Jake really bought into what his character was doing and so on, and I felt for the Bubble Boy because of how good Jake was. Maybe that's just me, though. Doesn't sound as bad as Warner Bros. idea to have Ashton Kutcher play Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins. Thank goodness they and the director reached a compromise and gave us Christian Bale.
