Also, hate him or not I think the Kevin Federline stuff was great. The timing was perfect. If it happened even a year later it probably would have had no impact but in late 06/early 07 he and Britney were absolutely everywhere. They were basically the Kim and Kanye of that era in terms of tabloid attention. Federline was hated by everyone. Luckily or smartly, the Raw he first appeared was in LA and Cena got a massive pop for giving him the FU and the clip was all over E News, Entertainment Tonight and all those kind of shows that week.

I knew he was popular but I didn't realize quite how much until this past week or two when he and Kendrick Lamar both released new albums. For perspective, this was Kendrick's first album in 5 years and arguably one of the most anticipated albums in a long time. Bad Bunny's album was completely in Spanish and still sold comparably in the US to Kendrick (286,000 first week sales v 272,000).
