Personally though if you asked me what the name Fabian Aichner sounded like... I'd probably say German before Italian >_> I don’t know, I’m still of the opinion it sounds pretty damn Italian to me. Like, he sounds like a midfielder whose jumped through a bunch of Serie A teams because of his attitude but they try to hone him because of his talent and ability with the ball. Maybe a mid table Premier League team takes a chance but he’s constantly in the papers because he’s late to training or something. the hard CH and ending in Ner just sounds more Germanic in nature to me than Latin...

The 'ch' pronounced as 'k' is Italian. A German 'ch' would be pronounced ... differently. Both common pronounciations don't really exist in English, I guess.

Why didn't he join Tony D'Angelo's group?

I desperately want this gimmick to either be...
1), A grifter who's just trying to sell you on his self-help program so you can be rich like him.
2), Transparently just Aichner trying to work through his depression over being ditched by his friends by cosplaying as the Most Interesting Man in the World and putting himself millions of dollars in debt in the process.

I guess I should point out that I had a Great (Great possibly) Uncle named Fabian with a last name extremely similar to Aichner who was German >_>

What about Aiden English? Was his gimmick opera singer, or was he just a personalised ring announcer who sang? In the early part of his NXT run, he sang himself out to the ring and sang after he won. Was actually one of those charming early Full Sail acts that the crowds really got into and the production added little quirks, like how post-match there’d be roses thrown into the ring. They dropped it when they formed up The Vaudevillains.

I guess we have had it then, but it was developmental when it was developmental, so it doesnt count and we can have it again!

Clearly he's not going to help with the horniness in NXT. I'm sure all the women will be fawning over him with his suaveness and his new sexy beard.

I don't get it. South Tyrol is a part of Italy that's mostly German, culturally. Trying to make him an Italian Stereotype just doesn't fit. Pfft, like Vince knows that. Or cares. I'm honestly shocked that WWE didn't just go to the Punch Out route and call him Pizza Pasta.

How long until he's wearing a toga or a gladiator attire or something else equally offensively Italian?

Went with the most “Italian” sounding name they could think of I see.
