The trailer for the series, serving as a sequel for the 1988 movie, debuted at The Star Wars Celebration earlier today!

Is Elora Danan all grown up in this one? Also any Daikini who calls a Nelwyn a "Peck" should be immediately cancelled. Also, watch out for troll turds.

If you love it, you love it. If you don't it's kinda forgettable. It's soundtrack is a banger and the humor/action/swords/sorcery mix was top notch. You can argue it's a little to close to Lord of the Rings in a lot of areas, but it does a good job mostly of having a rather creative spin on everything. It sometimes feels like the movie is full of George's bits and pieces from Star Wars or Indy. But that kinda helps the movie in a way. Oh, and both Madmartigan and Sorcha are smoking hawt in-their-prime actors doing a bang up job of keeping it both light and serious at the same time. I love the movie. Now excuse me I need to leave because there's a peck with an acorn pointed at me.

Top film, I spent way too much time at Uni playing the arcade game as well.

Watched the first 2 eps. One thing I dont like is Elora being the chosen one.
In the movie the prophecy was very Greek. Baby is prophesied to end Bavmordas reign. Bavmorda tries to eliminate the child which brings the child together with people who bring about Bavmordas downfall. Child does nothing.
Now I guess to continue things as a series there needs to be some hook and Elora still having some importance is necessary. But I always liked that the film took a different route with things.

I like it, but there's one bad thing and that's the music at the end. I don't think it fits with Willow, and if you're gonna use "Enter Sandman" use Metallica's version.

These last 2 episodes have reached the potential this show had. Last week with some good interaction and Christian Slater clearly having the time of his life to this week. This week's episode was just gorgeous, seriously, we're talking massive budget fantasy epic of visually stunning. And Kenneth showing the greatness of practical effects, the eyes were CG, but everything else was practical. And topping that off was great character development with everybody.

I like the characters. Borman is great, he is so much fun.
Kit is annoying. But has her moments

What an odd production. Not bad, not really, but tone-wise all over the place, in all categories.
Like Boromir duelling Conan the Barbarian, to the sounds of Skat8r Boi by Avril Lavigne.
I imagine this would be what a Star Wars film co-written and co-directed by JJ Abrams and Rhian Johnson would be like.

Yeah this was rather messy. Some good bits, good visuals, and good cameos (Hi Christian Slater!)but kind of all over the place in terms of character development and story structure. Don't think I'll watch any potential sequel series.

Loved the show. The soundtrack was odd but it fit the mood they were going with. Loved the characters and they all had logical arcs. Huge fan of the original movie, so this was a great follow up.

I liked the story and Warwick Davis was wonderful but the “MCU wisecracking turned up to 11” tone really threw the whole thing off for me.
