I'm amazed at how much time WWE manages to pad out on these shows with longwinded video packages. My favorite was the one that felt like it was an hour long dedicated to the Miz, who wasn't even on the show. These things seriously make trying to watch these shows an absolute slog. These are only because they have to make space for ads put in there by Peacock, and this is what everyone else who has the premium ad-free tier of it (or subscribers of other services around the world) sees instead of ads. Would it serve them to promote “exclusive content” (backstage interviews mostly) on these shows as a perk for upgrading to premium Peacock? It might, but that’s something they might have to figure out on their own. On the other hand, it gives me time to get a drink or use the toilet as opposed to using the matches themselves for that purpose.

I made it through Bianca-Carmella and then wandered off to do something else. This show bored me to tears. Women's MITB was absolutely terrible, with Shotzi being particularly bad, as usual. Had a great outcome though. Theory-Lashley happened, I'll give it that much. Bianca-Carmella was better than I expected, but still pretty meh. I try to watch WWE every couple of years, this definitely wasn't enough to convince me to try it more. Honestly in hindsight, Raquel and Shotzi were not good in that match. I still don't know what the hell WWE sees in Raquel either, other than being big. She's still noticeably clumsy in the ring, and is almost completely devoid of charisma. There's a reason why I was saying ever since last year when she beat Io that she's basically meant to be a heater for a heel at best, and not a pillar of the division. Starting to think that both women having their best matches/feuds with Io Shirai was not a coincidence. I mentioned it in the Io Shirai thread, but if she can be persuaded to stay in the company even for another year, WWE just needs to cave in entirely and give her a very lucrative contract and whatever the hell she wants, because she's the only woman still in NXT that I can see actually injecting serious life into the women's division on the main roster.

So I hear Shotzi completely blew her big chance? She wasn't good in the match, but they still chanted for her even after she kinda blew a spot with Alexa. I still think she's someone who's hurt by WWE not giving a f*** about its women's tag division, because she's shown that's where she really shines IMO. You put her with someone who can cover up for some of her in ring work sloppiness while she brings the personality, like when she teamed with Ember.

It would certainly be in there best interests to replace the ads on the show with literally anything else... as it is they can't advertise anything special for signing up for the paid tier. Pay money to see different ads isn't exactly a hook... where as opposed to like the old home video exclusive promos or something.

Shozti was pretty bad and it seemed like was screwing up every spot she had to. And she was booked to do a lot in the match which made it worse. Apparently she did her head on a ladder at one point I think when missed that splash on Becky so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt a little but she was botching stuff before that.
As for Raquel I didn't noticed anything particularly bad about her but she really didn't stand out at all either. Usually the giant in match does more cool stuff and is more memorable. Like Omos in the men's one for example I thought was way more memorable. They put him over much more as a threat and all the guys picking him up and slamming through the table was super cool. With Raquel I don't really remember anything she did. The whole match in general wasn't very good. Very sloppy, nobody really shined, and nothing stood out. Only cool spot that I remember that came off good was Liv's sunset powerbomb off the ladder on Lacey whom I know isn't everyone's favorite but deserves some props for taking that as it was a very dangerous bump and she took it extremely well.
