If Jeff calls it a career, good for him. If the issue is money, put Jeff in some games and sells figures of him, but I do think he should be careful.
The guy's a legend either way, like it'd be really difficult for someone to try to make the case otherwise. But legends in wrestling can still stick around too long for their own good, as we've seen many, many times.

About to have a 40 day Hell in the Cell match huh?
Hopefully he makes it out and he's able to get things together

Ugh, I really don't want to be that guy, but 40 days in jail, $4500 fine, and a suspended license for a habitual offender is bullshit. This is why DUIs are so prevalent in the US.

Every time this thread gets bumped I read the title and go "ANOTHER arrest already!?"

Makes me wonder if he'll come back when he serves time
I'm not saying he should, just wondering if they're gonna see if he inevitably stays out of trouble or if they're gonna wash their hands of it.

I hope he never wrestles again. I hope the next time I see Jeff Hardy, he's clean, sober, and getting the standing O he deserves at his Hall of Fame induction. But, above all, I hope he doesn't end up like Sunny. Or worse, god forbid.

He likely won't be back. His license was suspended for 10 years, and he is on probation for two years. Not sure about AEW, but in WWE at least, you NEED to have a driver's license. At the PC they help you get it if you don't have it. Norman Smiley, Robbie Brookside, and Matt Bloom help with it. No reason to think AEW will be much different in requiring a drivers license. And with Jeff being on probation for two years, he won't be allowed to leave Florida during that time unless he gets permission from his probation officer. Which is highly unlikely with his current career, which presents him as a massive flight risk.

It was really Enzo who helped Finn get his license, while also offering to help him get women.

I haven't watched WWE in ages, but if they did a Driver's Ed YouTube series where they taught wrestlers to drive I would watch that

Obviously no reasonable fine is going to end up deterring someone with a lot of money like him, but the suspension is a good measure.

A multi-millionaire who's too stupid to get an Uber deserves far more than 40 days and less than $5000 fine.

Considering Jeff doesn't live in Florida I don't think he'll have trouble getting permission to leave the state. It probation, not parole, a lot easier for people to deal with.

If prison did anything to actually rehabilitate people, maybe you'd be onto something, but as long as it's just treated as a bucket of piss to drown rats in so people get their taste of vengeance sated, it's not like putting him in for any longer would do jack shit.

It'll keep him off the road which he can't seem to stop getting intoxicated and then driving on.
