Imagine a feud between face Miz and current Roman. All it ever really takes is the ol’ Eugene. As in, heel does something so despicable that other heel can’t abide it. At this point, the thing to do with a face Miz would be to go full Eddie, make his cheating and scheming charming.

Instead, they went with making him a complete f***ing moron. For some reason, that didn't get him a lot of cheers.

Who would have thought losing to Shane McMahon at every turn would be detrimental for a babyface?

If they switch AJ/Rollins with Theory/Lashley, I think this would have been a great Raw instead of a decent Raw. Pacing and structure matters. Totally agree, my guess in this case is that they wanted nothing to do with the second half of the NBA finals game so they just did the Theory thing as the main event.

The Canada replay of RAW cut to a baseball game with half an hour left and I still gotta watch this Theory/Lashley posedown. I have never needed to watch anything more.

So where does everyone rank Lashley-Theory in the history of posedowns? Did it measure up to such classics as Warrior-Rude and Steiner-HHH?

I wasn’t around for Warrior / Rude but it’s second to Steiner / HHH. Not that’s that is a bad thing to be in second, it was amazing. Every single episode of wrestling across all promotions and brands should have at least one pose-down per week.

Both had baby oil getting squirted into the babyfaces eyes involved but Warrior-Rude also had a flex bar which I think gives it an edge. On the other hand Lashley sold the baby oil better then Warrior who didn't sell it all actually which I guess you could argue gives them the edge.

The baby oil had so little impact on Warrior / Rude that I don't remember baby oil in it at all. I thought they immediately went to the flex bar.

If you look closely Heenan squirts him in the face with it before Rude hits him from behind with the bar. Warrior didn't react to it at all though so it's easy to miss.
