I keep seeing this “Triple H can’t get it up” line and I feel like I missed something. Since none of these kinds of things just appear out of nowhere, was there someone who legit believes Vince demoted Triple H for that reason? One of our posters automatically assumed Steph and Triple H were having marriage issues, probably due to Triple H not being able to get an erection after his heart problems. It's not like it was on page 20 after all possible wild speculation was exhausted. It was on the first page and it's hilarious. It did introduce the beautiful phrase "blue chew" into my life, along with making me imagine different wrestlers saying it. Dusty: "Ya gotta take that blue chew daddeh" Warrior: "THE BLUE ELASTICITY INVIGORATES ALL WARRIORS SO WE'LL SOAR AS HIIIIIIIGH AS THE HEAVENS!!!!" I mean, ambulance chasers they may be but they're likely to get money from it since, well, they want these things away as quickly as possible so, not being funny, it works out for them.
Like, we're not talking about the concussion suits or whatever, these firms would likely be able to fund the court cases, they just don't need to because they get settled so quick.

Like, we're not talking about the concussion suits or whatever, these firms would likely be able to fund the court cases, they just don't need to because they get settled so quick. There are multiple reasons why it's not necessarily a bad thing when these law firms take up a cause celebre like this. For one thing, at least initially, they're getting a serious head start on any research needed into precedents and case law over something like this, which they can use to a) make their task easier when they get before a judge or a deposition, and b) overbill potential clients as part of their fees (unless they work on contingency, which may mean more money on the tail end for the firm.) Second, the publicity about the number of law firms is designed to give shareholders not named McMahon or Levesque a sense of urgency in getting a firmer resolution quicker, lest the long-term exposure of the company to this bad PR lowers the stock price and costs them even more money. Third, it might bring the attention of government regulators to the company - absolutely not what the McMahons would really want. |
