Stuff like this is why I have a hard time anyone actually buying the WWE. It's started as a garbage business this probably isn't even the third worst skeleton in the closet... very few companies are going to actually want the baggage that comes with buying it. Eh, I feel like it’ll be like Microsoft with Activision Blizzard where whoever does it comes in with the sense of being aware of the problems and wanting to fix it because of the profits it makes by chucking out the bad elements (and yeah, the board did keep Kotick in but this was also before a) the Microsoft news came out and b) the news of Kotick basically being donzo when it becomes official). Whether it pans out that way is an entirely different story. |

A big story like this has to drop right before I'm off to work. I wonder how this is gonna get crazier when I check up during my break. For once a big story like this drops when I have two days off work so I can keep up-to-date with it for the most part tonight. Doubt we'll hear too much more in terms of concrete news about it but I'm sure there'll be tons of speculative stuff said. Wait and see whether I'm right though I guess. |

This isn't just gonna go away like some seem to believe this came through the wallstreet journal first for a reason and wasn't breaking news through someone like Meltzer.
Doing that put way more eyes on this than if it just remained within the circle of wrestling fans and then by the time the mainstream media caught it would have been very old news.

Wait you mean to tell me that Vince McMahon who booked himself to kiss many young woman on tv, alledgely tried to sexually assault a women at a massage parlour and openly admitted to cheating on his wife is a no good creep?
You also expect me to believe that Johnny Ace - the man who told AJ Lee point blank that nobody wanted to sleep with her and alledgely had a casting couch for the models he would hire out of a catalogue is also a no good creep?

All I’ll say is that it is very satisfying for Vince and co to be found out on something like this after spending weeks of their own programme whining to anyone who will listen about Sasha and Naomi being “unprofessional” and “letting the fans down”. You reap what you sow and all that. No i call BS on this...Completely different situations and one doesn't invalidate the other...They were still unprofessional and did let fans down especially ones at that show. |

If there is wrongdoing on Vince and Ace's part, I don't have much faith in the WWE's internal investigations into it, given how they've handled other HR matters in the past. Remember, they 'investigated' Bill DeMott and the coach accused of sexual harassment in NXT more than once, first by giving DeMott the complaints against him so he could abuse then cut his accusers, and the second time out, not reaching out to any of his accusers. This is an outsourced investigation it seems. |
