Who should be the #1 babyface in WWE right now?

So of the main roster guys, who do you make the #1 guy the rest of the year until Cody returns?

The roster is pretty bare of babyfaces right now.

I think McIntyre is the most "ready," but a (perhaps insane) part of me wants to see them give Mustafa Ali a chance. Riddle did just lose, but you could argue he's already there.

Drew right now. Let him beat Roman and finally get a run in front of fans as the top face until Cody returns.

I'd also turn Rollins face next year after the Cody stuff is finished. The key to it would be not changing him a whole lot though, we don't want 2019 face Rollins. Just tone himself down a tiny bit and start fighting heels instead of faces and I think fans will get behind him like they did during the brief feud with Roman earlier this year.

I'd say Riddle. Drew is over but I think he's reached a ceiling of being pretty over but unable to be THE guy. At least right now. Great spot mind you but it's a 2000s HBK to me. Top guy who isn't going to be the very top guy. Riddle has shown enough to me over the past six months that he can reach another level in the next year with the right push.

I’d tone down the cackling, but just to a bit and have him f*** around with heels instead of faces (kinda like what he did with Roman by using the Shield music at Royal Rumble to mess with him).

Since dropping the title in 2021, he seems to be like Bret Hart 1995. Demoted to mid-card fighting every gimmick wrestler out there.
