Todd in the Shadows is back! What the hell is this claim about by Music Vault? I watched the video last night. Todd barely had 15 second clips of any of the songs. He definitely didn't violate any community guidelines.

It's been reuploaded: This album sounds unbelievably bad Not just bad, but incoherently bad. At the very least, with most Trainwreckords, you can at least see what they were trying to do, and in turn, where they went wrong: Jewel tried to go pop, Katy Perry tried to go mature, both Will and Hammer tried to go hard. Here, it feels like four separate shitty albums haphazardly edited into one long album.

So it’s the folk rock equivalent of Eminem’s Revival? An earnest message that’s upended by poor production and weak beats.

Seems like an album that would have been more interesting if they all hated oneanother so there'd be some passion there, like Fleetwood Mac over the years. Instead they were just people okay with oneanother putting solo album tracks together out of a sense of commitment and because solo projects weren't going great, rather than because they had something to say.

Yeah or even a situation like the last Creedence album where they all hated each other so much that the album at least ended up entertainingly bad

I love these episodes, never thought I'd see a historic band have such a garbage album as the Clash's "Cut the CRap" but here we are.

It's one of those things where it's a shame that extreme metal is really outside Todd's wheelhouse because there have been some absolute bowsers in the last decade

Did anyone else get the title track stuck in their head? I had to add it to my playlist, which is odd because my current playlist mostly consists of 1990’s Eurodance.

I'd quite like Todd to do an episode on Pulp's This Is Hardcore. Pulp became Britpop darlings after releasing Different Class in 95, but Jarvis Cocker grew resentful of their fairweather fans, so intentionally made a dark morbid album to scare them off. It's one of the few intentional Trainwreckords I can think of.
