I love Okada. He's simultaneously the coolest yet dorkiest man on the planet. Oozes cool in the ring, is a complete idiot out of it. The perfect man, lol

I wish he was still the Balloonmaker. Personally I miss when he rocked that furred cape over his multicolored robe, with the gold drip. He looked peak boss mode.

I loved how the Milwaukee crowd went ballistic when they heard that coin drop. That was a white hot audience and did so much to make Okada feel like a big deal to any more casual fans watching at home.

You mean the man who could do something AEW hasn't... sell out MSG Big deal. When he brings in 45,000 to MSG like Nash did, then we can talk.

It’s crazy to see the reaction he got last night when you consider that he win the IWGP title in his second match back from excursion against Tanahashi. Him and his Tenzan-lite haircut. People thought that was the end of the post-Inokiism upswing in New Japan. There were genuine worries that NJPW would be back in the dark ages after the “Rainmaker Shock.”
Now it’s hard to think of anyone but Okada as the top guy.

I am more familiar with Okada than almost any of the other NJPW guys, so this segment actually lit in me that feeling that I think people who already watch NJPW have been getting through this whole super angle.
So much that he did it on his own. I have gone cold on both Adams and White is growing on me but still an unknown quantity. Okada showing up and nearly hitting the Rainmaker made me nearly shit myself
Still probably not buying the show tho
