I expect we see Andrade challenge the Forbidden Door winner for the AEW belt maybe after a Death Triangle feud? I feel like Andrade's finally hitting his stride and his in ring work has been outstading. He's someone who may come in hugely clutch with the injuries going around.

It's a minor gripe, but I wish Rush had done something other than a dick kick, just since it feels like we see so many goddamn low blows in AEW.

But, I guess if it was just a punch, it wouldn't have been as impactful, and there's just not a lot of moves he can do in a suit.

There's probably ALWAYS a hard ceiling on Andrade as long as Main Eventers are expected to interact with Bullet Club (or by extension, the Elite, now that the Bucks are apparently in BC again) in some way.

Three takeaways: 1) Rush has a great look, 2) Andrade's hammerlock DDT still looks awkward, 3) Excalibur still doesn't know how to sell a new faction forming (although it was atmittedly tough to insert the weird ad for the shirt if he was instructed to do so).

I hope this means Andrade can get a serious push with Rush and I assume others (hopefully Dragon Lee & Dralistico) backing him up. I honestly wouldn’t mind them winning all of the titles and dominating for a while, but that might be my Andrade bias showing.

I was pleasantly surprised it was Rush compared to the alternative I was thinking about: when Andrade was first talking to him off-screen, all I was thinking was, Please tell me they didn't sign Alberto El Patron.

I like to think AEW would never give El Patron a chance lol.

They maybe were thinking of bringing in Rush for a while, if not for his injury. Just thinking back to the Lucha Bros vs FTR feud starting with Andrade bringing in two “luchadors.” Personally I am a bigger fan of Dragon Lee. Rush’s ROH title runs being marked by interference which sadly soured me a little bit. But we shall see, and hope Lee and Dralistico get shots as well regardless.

I think Andrade has a lot of baggage on him at this point and this is really his last chance to shine and show why people thought he was world champ material. Rush has been killing it on his own for a good min and his own natural swagger is going to get him over in AEW

I do like Andrade, but I somehow care about him less now that RUSH is here. He just feels like an instant star.

I’ve said it before but I’ve only seen Rush a few times on ROH and I became an instant fan. Dude just has “it”. I hope he can get a full time contract with AEW because I think he can be a star.
