Yoda. I think the only time I've liked him was in The Last Jedi when he set the tree on fire and trolled Luke into thinking the Jedi texts were destroyed. In everything else, he just spouts riddles that sound deep but are really nonsense, doesn't learn from the mistakes of the Jedi Order, and fell asleep at the wheel long enough for the Sith to come back and take over the galaxy. I hate how even Lucas flanderized Yoda. Watch Empire. When Yoda drops the act he also drops the wacky talking. Yet everything after that has nothing but wacky talk, even in life or death situations.

Andy in The Office is a character that only works in tiny doses. He should have been used like Toby or Creed. Instead they leaned into him and everything he did was cartoon level stupid or flat out hardcore cringe.
Boss Andy was quite possible the most idiotic character I've seen in a TV Show that even halfway pretended to be "real". I've seen obese drunken hillbillies shooting rifles at Bigfoot that felt more realistic than Andy. Dude was too stupid to even survive as a clueless rich dude.
Andy should have died on that boat. The show would have been better off.

While I don't necessarily hate him, I have a low tolerance for Andy Dwyer in Parks and Rec, particularly when he's doing the Burt Macklin shtick.

As I said in the "Stranger Things 4" thread...
There may be no character in all of entertainment who makes my eyes glaze over more than Eleven. Nothing about her storyline interests me, you couldn’t pay me to get remotely invested in the backstory that they delve into in episode 7, she’s the show’s Poochie (“Whenever Eleven’s not on screen, all the other characters should be asking, ‘Where's Eleven?’”), and she’s the ultimate “Get Out of Jail Free Card,” in that whenever a situation seems tenuous for the kids of Hawkins, they can just call on Eleven to rescue them.
Any time she’s on screen, in the “Rainbow Room” or in the NINA tank, it takes about 90 seconds before I’m looking for my phone because I’m bored with the scene.

This. It's like The Rock in 1999. WWF figured that people liked the catchphrases....so Rock spent most the year talking only in catchphrases.

"I'm not afraid." "Will be you." "I dont believe it." "Fail that is why you."

I'll just go with Final Fantasy characters:
Cait Sith. This character just makes no sense.
Irvine. Even Squall's like "f*** this guy".
Seymour. Awful design, boring motives and gets whooped far too many times to take him seriously. He's basically James from Team Rocket but with no charisma.
Vanille. Just annoying.
Hope. I guess I understand his character a little more now but he also sucks in battle. I know he's technically the best medic but you can't heal if you're always dead (he has, like, 100 HP).

I hated Gina in Brooklyn 99. Just thought she was a pretty unfunny asshole. Another Flanderization victim. Early on she was financially responsible and mature enough to lecture Jake on growing up. Later she is a complete nutcase. Though she was always a self centered asshole, just not as much. But still hateable.

I get why people find Cotton funner, but I like Peggy a lot more, albeit moreso in situations where she demonstrates a keen understanding of Hank and sides with him when she ought to, like when she plainly tells Luanne in the Halloween episode she is going to side with Hank if Luanne tries to make her pick a side out of her naive crusade against Halloween. I feel like they kinda botch that understanding sometimes in episode's for plot conflict's sake. It is funny when her ego blows up in her face, just, I do like when they show she's not a complete idiot and also just genuinely is Hank's best friend and knows him intimately. I also love the episode where she refuses to teach Hank how the magic trick was done since it was fun to see their dynamic flipped, with Hank being the unreasonable party.
Cotton does have his moments, though, like covering for Bobby to prevent him from being humiliated when he stank up the bathroom. I still find a little Cotton goes a long way.

I hated Gina in Brooklyn 99. Just thought she was a pretty unfunny asshole. Biggest example of a Karma Houdini in a sitcom. She's never humbled or proven wrong and she always ends up winning everything. I cheered when that bus hit her.

Gina Linetti was a character I loathed. I was so happy when she left the regular cast. Just a self centered jerk, I really couldn't see why anyone other than maybe Jake liked her.
Also, I'm probably in the minority here but to me Boba Fett will always be a chump. I don't hate him, but no amount of retconning changes the fact that he died to some Three Stooges level antics in Return of the Jedi.

The Weasley Twins irritated me in Harry Potter. When George died, I didn’t necessarily cheer his demise but I wasn’t sorry to see him go.

Awww I love Vanille ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) She's pretty much the driving force behind the story and arguably the real main character. I'm not as good as explaining why as this frenemy of mine is but I really appreciate her arc and her character. But I'm also biased towards the genki girl types in FF. Yuffie and Rikku are also faves of mine, and Vanille sits right up in that archtype (plus I ship Vanille/Fang hard).
