Didn’t Big Show use a rap song before being written off in the Shane feud? After which he came back to his classic 99 theme.

The Evil Is Mine was way too short lived after Alexa broke off from Bray.
It’s possibly the stupidest song ever written, and that’s what makes it amazing.

Wade Barrett had a weird, autotuned version of his "I Don't Care" theme before he was injured. Once he came back he moved to the fighter gimmick and got a harder version of the theme.

Pirate Paul Birchall's entire gimmick got short shelflifed due to injury... and allegedly at least one of the writers hating it.

I liked the hip hop theme John Cena had when he first became a rapper. He only had it for a few months before Brock Lesnar F5'd him onto the ring post then he returned with Wordlife.

Jericho also had "King of my World" all through November of 2002 from Forcible Entry before switching back to the usual theme. |

They were literally all terrible I thought the New Age Outlaws one was catchy. But considering their whole gimmick was their regular theme song it was a bad idea to switch. |

Not an injury but Al Snow’s heel theme from fall 99-early 00 was far too short lived. Surprised it never got recycled for someone else.

Lars Sullivan’s new theme when he returned briefly. That version sucked though, his original was infinitely better.
