Who says WWE can't do symbolism?

Of course it can’t just be taken on face value (Cora Jade being a miserable c***), it has to be symbolic of what WWE think of women and tag teams.

It's ok, in 20 years when she gets inducted into the HOF she can just take it out of the wastebasket.

Should be forced to team together until they lose them and if one intentionally costs the team the match they get promoted from there minors fired.

That I think officially kills the tag belts in both brands
There WAS a storyline here where they reluctantly defend them and one screws the other to further heat or get revenge, but that's too hard for these writing teams, they'd rather just prove Sasha and Naomi right in every conceivable way lmfao

There's no point in having Women's Tag Titles on the developmental brand if there's nothing for those teams to do when they get called up.
Wouldn't be shocked if they decided to turn Cora just to do that.

For what it’s worth, the current official stance is that Jade has only given up her half to the title, and Perez still holds her half of it. A rare instance of Vacant actually teaming up with a real person.

Roxanne is eating a bowl of cereal with the caption “love u” with hers, so at least one of them is getting the respect it deserves. <3

Even by wrestling standards Sting choosing Nash as his partner and joining any NWO group was so, so dumb. Like even if you overlooked the main July 96-Starrcade 97 Sting v NWO saga, in May or June of 98 when Sting started teaming with Nash we were literally just weeks removed from Nash costing Sting the world title at Spring Stampede.

Oh, completely agreed. Especially since, if you ignore how dumb it was to join the group in the first place, one of his other partner choices was Lex Luger, a guy he had a pretty significant relationship with and held the tag titles with. Choosing Nash over him would basically be like if Randy Orton held one of the tag belts and instead of choosing Edge as a partner, he chose Roman Reigns even though Reigns and the Usos beat the crap out them constantly.
