I dont know anything about designer cheeses but I can’t stand plain American cheese. Always thought it was kinda yucky. When I was in second grade my mom had colby or swiss slices in my sandwich for lunch. I always get a swiss burger whenever I’m at Jack In The Box, that’s at least better than what’s basically yellow wax paper. Mozzarella's my favorite cheese.

I sent that Altoona pizza pic to a friend from Altoona because her and a bunch of friends moved here from there. Asked if that’s why they ran away. She said one of many reasons.

Just as a parent, I honestly can't think of an instance where I would sabotage my own children and family for such little gain.
The Wall Street Journal noted he could have just cashed out and got something like $800m and percentages of profits every quarter. And for some reason, destroying his relationship with his daughter seemed like the better option.

You will very rarely find it in my fridge, and if you do, expect there to be an entire pack of it because I will not touch that shit. The real ones I always use, even on burgers. People who evangelize American cheese as the only burger cheese have never melted on like a nice slice of smoked havarti or something. It's f***ing powerful. It's life-changing. Cheese is so incredible and diverse and there's no reason to settle for the blandest of the bland because they put the Melts Good Chemical in it. I usually go for swiss, provolone, mozzarella or bleu cheese on my burger, but I'll have to try to remember this. That sounds delicious.

Especially if you're doing burgers indoors because you don't own a grill or live somewherew where you can't grill, getting smoke in through other ways really uplifts it. I also recommend a homemade chipotle mayo; I make that shit by the entire huge jar of mayonnaise with canned chipotles in adobo, smoked paprika, and lime juice all thrown in a blender with the mayo. Amazing sauce for burgers, subs, and you can dial it back with sour cream for those who can't do spice, or with like Greek yogurt and honey to make a really good smokey-sweet sandwich spread.

What are some of the best pizza places in New York? I'm there in June with my parents. We've got a tour booked that goes to Grimaldies and Spimomi Gardens (apologies if the spelling isn't correct) but i'd love to know some other places that are really good. When you go to Spumoni Gardens/L&B, make sure you get their Sicilian/square pie as that’s their specialty. Their round is just standard. Another top spot in Brooklyn is DiFara’s. In Staten Island, there’s Denino’s, Joe & Pat’s, and Lee’s Tavern as three favorites. In Manhattan, John’s of Bleecker and Lazarra’s and I think they also added a Joe & Pat’s.

Horseradish Cheddar is great and I do appreciate a bacon blue cheese burger.
