I like that the MCU Atlantis will have a Mesoamerican feel to it. Makes it stick out compared to the DC Atlantis. Tenoch Huerta (who is of Aztec descent) even learned the Mayan language for the role. That's pretty cool. I love the change. It was probably stemmed from them not wanting to look like a ripoff of Aquaman s Atlantis. Despite Namor existing longer I think He predates Aquaman by two years

I feel like he should be clean shaven. If anything, giving him facial hair makes him even more comparable to Aquaman. Glad he has his wings though.

So... who's supposed to be BP? And will they explain Chadwicks passing? According to a plot leak from a few weeks back, which has since been largely backed up by the trailer... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}it's explained that T'Challa died of an illness shortly after Endgame, and Shuri becomes Black Panther in the film's finale, serving under King M'Baku. {Spoiler}Nice to know her actress is failing her way up in the world. Should just have it be M'Baku.

From the trailer, the theme of the movie seems to be about mourning passing but also celebrating life

I am worried about Shuri being BP only because her actress is one f*** up away from being shitcanned but looks like the spoilers were right about him having a son so that's their insurance for the future

Namor is also arguably the first antihero in comics history. So I'm expecting him to be less of an outright villain and more just antagonistic in this movie so he can begrudgingly help the heroes in future Avengers movies.

His alignment basically depends if he feels like trying to get into Sue Richards' pants that day.

The full version of the cover of "No Woman, No Cry" from the trailer, by Nigerian songstress Tems, is now available:
If this is any indication what the soundtrack will sound like, I expect it will be amazing, and I expect it will break my heart plenty of times.

An insider who previously leaked the full Multiverse of Madness plot has given a more detailed leak of Wakanda Forever's plot: {Spoiler}T'Challa has died of an illness and the whole opening is dedicated to him, but it's really a tribute to Chadwick Boseman.
Lake Bell plays an undercover American scientist who's supposed to be Riri Williams' teacher. She knows about the girl's potential and gives advice about what Riri can do using her intelligence.
Riri Williams is an MIT student prodigy who befriended Shuri while in the U.S. She created a device that finds Vibranium.
Namor was born in 1500. He's the son of a human explorer and an indigenous princess from an indigenous society called Tialocan. He fought against the Spanish Inquisition, but his kingdom suffered greatly, which led them to hide underwater. He will be half-mutant/half-Tialocan (a people described as magical).
Shuri refuses to ascend to the throne, so Ramonda remains as queen regent.
Lake Bell's character uses Riri's creation to locate Vibranium and discovers it in Antarctica and the Atlantic Ocean. However, the Vibranium ends up awakening Tialocan and the explosion damages Namor's kingdom, which was already screwed since 1500. The Vibranium explosion kills some Tialocans and Namor gets pissed off, going to Wakanda wanting them to pass over the technology to repair his kingdom, but with ulterior motives, such as destroying Spain and other countries.
Namora and Attuma try to capture Riri, who escapes by creating an armor made out of wrecked cars. Okoye and Nakia save Riri and take her back to Wakanda. Namor then decides to invade the country.
Namor floods all of Nigeria, causing a genocide just to get to Wakanda, which is also affected by a tsunami that kills thousands, including Queen Ramonda. Shuri becomes extremely distraught and creates a synthetic vibranium heart herb and distributes countless vibranium suits to Riri, Okoye, Nakia, Aneka and M'baku.
Shuri goes to the astral plane to find her brother, but instead finds a remorseful Killmonger. He teaches her how to become a Black Panther.
The U.S. breaks ties with Wakanda, seeking to lay claim to the Vibranium deposits.
Namor vs Shuri. M'baku, Okoye and Aneka vs Attuma. Nakia and Riri vs Namora. The Tialocans are very strong, all the Dora Milaje's needed for assistance in the fight.
Namor is defeated by Shuri. He retreats with his people. Shuri passes the mantle on to M'baku, who becomes king and Black Panther. Shuri stays focused only on the lab.
Credits scenes: Dr. Doom is revealed as the orchestrator of the Wakanda vs Tialocan war. He's the one who hired the American scientist, who's revealed to be Lucia Von Bardas.
Nakia is pregnant with a boy from T'Challa.
Three of the Thunderbolts (Ghost, Yelena, and John Walker) are sent by the U.S. to recover the Vibranium in Antarctica.

I wonder if Kendrick Lamar's going to do the curated soundtrack for this movie, too. He did a great job with the first movie's.
And then you've got Ludwig Goransson back for the score, who has done some great work the past few years.

Ghost must've been one of those who got snapped and then brought back to life as her condition meant that she was going to die unless she got Quantum Energy which Scott got trapped after The Snap happened when he went to retrieve some for her.

Personally I always had the idea that she wasn't snapped, but Bill Foster was. Without him to act as her moral compass, she got desperate and became more villainous. Eventually she's captured by the government and they figure out a way to stabilize her in exchange for service on the Thunderbolts.

Shuri is Black Panther but passes it on to M Baku. Sounds like a reshoot. Maybe Shuri is replaced in the lab by Riri next movie.
I wonder if they have cast Doom or if it will be a face mask in the shadows situation.

I wonder if they have cast Doom or if it will be a face mask in the shadows situation. {Spoiler}According to various insiders who vouch for the leak, at one point the movie was to end with Shuri as Black Panther and M'Baku as king, so it is very like that may have changed in reshoots as a result of Letitia Wright's antivax posts.
Doom has not been cast yet. Reportedly the scene plays out similarly to the Thanos scene in Avengers, with Lake Bell's character doing the talking to a stand-in wearing the mask.
