I'm on board with making Io a huge threat but please no more 'non-title' matches ever again. If a singles champ loses a singles match via pinfall or submission they should lose the title. Same idea with tag champs. I think they're fine, but like most things WWE has done over the years it's more that they absolutely overdo it to the point of insanity. This will certainly be interesting to see: Triple H has his health issues, and he's about to have a lot more responsibilities than a one hour developmental show and there'll be a lot more masters he'll have to please (networks, sponsors, different rosters, etc). That said, any shakeup to WWE's creative is desperately needed, and old school NXT clearly shows what Triple H would like a wrestling show to be, so we'll see how they shake out. Can't see myself getting back into WWE any time soon; Vince was arguably my biggest reason for walking away from it as a promotion, but things like the Saudi deal are still in place that I don't want to support. That said, this is a big opportunity for things to evolve in a way they haven't for this company in literally 20 years, so I don't blame anyone for being interested in what they might portend. I think the difference with HHHunter and Vince is that Vince was a complete control freak who wanted every script, every angle, every tiny bit of everything to go through him. I think HHHunter is much more comfortable using those around him to do things and trusting them to do thing without needing that micromanagement. I expect they'll also divide things up more. Lots of the TV stuff will be kept away from him as creative and talent head, while Steph and Nick Khan likely wont be at every show managing from Gorilla. That will hopefully keep him healthier going forward, and begs the eternal question of how Vince hasnt had 34 hearts attacks by now.

I'd be interested to see the things he comes up when he doesn't have Vince to answer to. One thing I would like to see changed in creative is to ditch the Hollywood writers and let people who's background is in wrestling write the shows. As far as all of this new responsibility and how it relates to his health is concerned, I think Triple H. is smart enough to not put too much on his plate and risk his health and Stephanie will also make sure he doesn't.

I'm probably not going to agree with everything he does, but that's okay. Damn, I can't believe I'm actually getting excited about WWE.

I think a lot of Vince's guys will stick around at least for the immediate future even if it's in diminished roles. I'm guessing it will be more gradual but as long as Stephanie, HHH, and Kahn are really running things I'd be at least a little surprised if Dunn and Prichard are still around next year.

Yeah, due to paranoia of upsetting the stockholders and stock price, I’d expect it to be awhile before you see any major changes. Key people will stay in place, or at least in the company, for awhile still. Not good optics if you abruptly lose your CEO and a bunch of other high position guys jump off the ship because he’s gone.

Thing is, Bruce is actually pretty good at his job. He does what he is told, and he makes it work. Now, people may disagree that what he is told to do is any good, but having someone who can actually pull everything together on a scale that HHHunter wont have done before, is going to be very useful, and much more healthy, for him to have.

Thinking about it more...
Pros of HHH booking: -Exciting awesome PPVs -Tag division -Women's division -Variety of wrestlers getting pushes -Desire to connect and please audience -Can guys like Nak and Balor go up the card again?!?!
Cons: -"Face takes forever to win the title then immediately loses it in a ~shocking~ swerve" trope -"Two best frands stand side by side, you know what happens next, followed by overwrought melodramatic feud to diminishing returns" trope -Main event scene can get dull -Slow TV or too much happening at once TV -Incoming Karrion Kross megapush to crickets
I'll take those cons over the malaise of current booking 100% though.
Also on the non booking production side: -stable camera work please -PPV THEMES ARE GONNA RULE AGAIN -POPPY -Get ready for a heavily skull based CGI aesthetic

So we do or we don't like Tony Kahn? Last I heard, everyone hated him because he convinced McMahon to release everyone. I didn’t know TK had that much influence on Vince haha But Nick Khan, general consensus is he’s good for the company business wise but people are still pretty sore about the mass layoffs.

I don’t disagree and can see him lasting longer then other Vince guys and probably has the best chance of surviving, but I’d still guess that eventually Hunter will want to have some he sees as his guy in that role.

Just having a head of creative that actually gives a shit what his customers want and about the morale of his employees will be a huge improvement.
