I remember a thread a few weeks ago pondering if Wrestlemania 40 would continue the 20 and 30 trend of having a workhorse technical guy go over in the main event and get a big career ascension out of it, and I think now that the show is booked by a man who was involved in both of those situations really makes that a more pressing kind of interest. Philly would definitely be a city where you could run that kind of thing and have it play out.

Awesome to see a new Mania city pop up. It hasn’t been in Philly since 1999 so this will be a fresh location. Paul E going to the HOF too

Guys like Gable, Zayn, Owens, Styles, Ciampa are more likely to see top guy runs than they were a month ago now with HHH back.

I know it's not as big as they'd usually like for something like this...
...but any chance they'd do NXT in 2300 Arena (AKA ECW Arena) during this whole thing?

Awesome for Philadelphia! But its long overdue for Toronto to get a Mania again. Rumor has it after the remodeling of the Rogers Center (SkyDome) the City wants a WrestleMania again.
Living under an hour from downtown Toronto this is a good thing if it happens.

Maybe with the Bears (hopefully) building a new stadium in Arlington Heights, we could see 50 in Chicago.

“The Gang Goes To Wrestlemania” It’s Always Sunny crossover incoming. The possibilities are endless. Mac actually thinking he could win a match and challenging wrestlers. Dennis walking around in tights just to show off his body. Charlie actually getting in the ring (likely in his green suit). Dee hitting on every single wrestler and getting rejected. Frank telling stories as a promoter and trying to sell ideas. Day Man and Night Man in the main event. I had considered Green man showing up. I’d throw out the possibility of Dee getting picked to sing America The Beautiful and dry heaving when she sees all the people/nerves.

Some person on this board said it would be real cool if a WM took place in Wrigley Field in Chicago. Wrigley Field is the last major league sports stadium that I know of that sits in a residential area. All the other ones have been demolished. This person said that the atmosphere of people in that stadium chanting CM Punk in that residential area stadium would be great and I agree. Imagine living close by that stadium to the point where you can hear the crowds. Of course, so much time has passed and Punk won’t go to WWE if the boss’ doofus son-in-law (his words. Not mine.) is in charge.

Summerslam would be a better bet...
