Conor probably shouldn’t do any UFC fights between now and whenever this is supposed to happen because he’s going to get KO’d in the octagon too.
No one wants to watch this mess.

Who'd be dumb enough to order it a second time?

Who'd be dumb enough to order it a second time? I think the intrigue is low because you can only do that type of fight once between them and it is not like Conor has been boxing since then But with the shit talking and media hype and this most likely going down in Vegas I assume, they will build it up

McGregor's die-hard fans will eat anything he shits out, but I have to wonder if even Mayweather's fans are getting bored.

Been bored Mayweather is one of my favorite boxers ever but this has been old. I don't blame him for maximizing his bag with minimal effort but even in his mid 40s he can still beat a guy like Conor. Everyone knows this is easy money for Mayweather and I can't blame him for being a smart business man but the returns are old. This is just him being a showman and no doubt he is telling Conor let's take it so we can enjoy out money but if Conor gets aggressive he can easily knock him down

At least the first time around Conor was still relevant. After Khabib toasted his ass who gives a f***.
Two has beens jerking each other off again for an easy paycheck, and it'll probably work.

Another easy payday and W for Floyd.
And anything for Conor to get paid and keep running from Usman. Would be nice for Conor to get a win over someone under 50 before this.

Guessing McGregor/Siver II REALLY fell through then.

Connor still commands enough deranged loyalty from weirdos, and enough people will just buy a Mayweather bout, that this probably goes down. Probably attach some Youtubers down the card for more freak show celebrity factor and turn it into a whole circus. But it's still transparent and sad as hell on its face and everyone knows it. Connor lost what he had and all that's left is being loud and pathetic as loudly and pathetically as he can be. This is at least a bout where he probably won't break his leg and end up screaming about his opponent's wife in his DMs while he's being carried out by doctors, howling with insecurity all the way to the back.
It's a fight he knows he'll lose, but he'll lose to a big payday, so it won't bruise his ego the same way stepping into the Octagon and having to learn more and more that he doesn't have it anymore will.

Nobody caaaares, who am I kidding, it’s gonna sell like hotcakes. Is the entire appeal now just to see Mayweather decimate him?

Even the first Mayweather vs McGregor fight didn't sell as big as they estimated, even if it was a big success, so I doubt this is going to do as well. But, I also am sure it's going to sell well. People like freak shows sometimes, and beyond that, it's something they can gamble on with the undercard. Anyone betting on Conor in the main event would be going for one hell of a long shot, to put it mildly.

We're so deep in the wacky exhibition era that we're having "they're both a lil bit shittier now, how will this change things" rematches of wacky exhibition fights. Damn lmao.
