The reason that AEW won’t hire him is because he’s terrible and everyone knows it. He’ll be rehashing the Stooge angle for HHH in 10 years or so though, so keep your head up and your nose brown Roadie.

Makes me wonder if Road Dogg had a falling out with Triple H or he was shit at his job at the performance center in ways that Triple H was already getting fed up of anyway. The idea of public begging just seems so sad and insane unless it's some kind of bizarro publicity stunt.

Dude is playing the "nice guy" stereotype completely straight. Next, we'll find out that Road Dogg didn't want Tony Khan anyway and TK should be grateful for the chance to hire Dogg. Next thing will be Road Dogg telling us that he only wants to work for billionaires that are trad-promoters, preferably Asian and submissive. "Nice Guy (TM)" Road Dogg wasn't something I knew I needed...

Yeah I actually think its really weird and telling that he doesn't feel comfortable that he's getting his job back (or some other sort of paycheck) under Hunter. Something's going on there.

He must have been really bad at his job if Tony Khan won't even bring him in to get a New Age Outlaws reunion in AEW.

He must have been really bad at his job if Tony Khan won't even bring him in to get a New Age Outlaws reunion in AEW. Especially in light of Gunn Club working a Dumpster match on Dynamite. That was an Outlaws specialty, and yet they don't feel the need to invoke Road Dogg at all.

Isn’t Tony aware that Road Dogg was number 46 in the 1999 PWI 500?

Maybe he can go bother Billy Corgan for a job. Maybe if The Smashing Pumpkins were on tour again.

Having seen some accounts repost Road Dogg tweets for awhile, he basically Bischoff'd them. Praising them for how their show looks but once it becomes obvious Tony is not interested starts bashing him.
I did think some of the backlash RD got for his comments on Rollins in developmental was a little harsh only because it's well documented that Rollins was a headache down in Florida, but for as charismatic as he was as a performer he's... just not very good in a creative/agent role. Everything he touched in WWE/NXT flopped

Everything he touched in WWE/NXT flopped I still believe he's the one who was mostly behind Joe Gacy's character at first. I have nothing to back it up, I just think it's funny that right around the time Road Dogg was let go they had Gacy stop using anti-SJW buzzwords you would've seen on Road Dogg's Twitter and just turned him into your typical wrestling cult leader.

Wasn't he part of the backstage crappiness at the Performance Center \ NXT during the pandemic that saw the place become a rolling superspreader event to.the point it impacted the main shows? Yeah, pass.
Also AEW already has Dustin and Jericho to fill the 'Veteran talent with bad takes' role.

He did indirectly give us the "Bron Breakker devoured by liberals" thread, then. And that makes it his greatest contribution to pro wrestling since the original run of the New Age Outlaws.

I'm still convinced people in WWE had just seen PC Principle on South Park, but decided that they couldn't be too obvious by giving him Oakleys or acting like a bro.

I don't blame him for trying the "your show sucks, let me fix it" strategy again, cause I think that's what got him the job with TNA back in the day IIRC.
