I like the feel of this group. It reminds me of old-school managers like Bobby Heenan that picked up random talents with little in common to manage. Most groups these days are stables with cohesive themes and imagery. I dislike it for exactly the same reason. They need SOMETHING uniting them, even if they all have different personalities. It could still come out with this business card thing, but as it is, it's just really messy.

They haven't even come together as a group yet though, until I see it all come together I don't want to call it a mess, and like Heenan, I don't think they all have to exclusively pal together either, who knows.

I was kind of hoping Morrisey would pop back up in WWE, seems like a better fit there (and certainly would've been a better pickup than Braun) but good to see him getting another chance on a big stage either way. He probably got an offer but his partner (DDPs daughter) works for AEW plus (pure speculation) HHHs black and gold nostalgia might mean the offer came with the deal of putting him & Enzo back together. Morrisey may have feared babysitting the little rascal would lead him back to bad habits.

I don't think HHH wants to deal with Enzo anymore, after all of the headaches Enzo caused him. I'm guessing it's a combination of his girlfriend being there and the schedule being better for his mental health, but who knows! Maybe he'll make an account here and let us all know!

You can tell when someone spends a lot of time in WWE when they stare into the hard camera like their life depends on it. Felt like Morrisey was staring right into my soul. It was uncomfortable.

True, though him doing stuff like basically challenging the viewer to see him as he chokeslammed Peter Avalon at least made it work a bit better, where he was at least acknowledging he's breaking the fourth wall intentionally.

Brian Zane said this too but I really don't know what Morrissey brings that meant he was necessary to sign and feature over anyone else Size basically, AEW doesn't have many big men. Honestly, they kind of do at this point. Satnam, Lance Archer, Luchasaurus, Keith Lee, Cesar Bononi, Jake Hager, Billy Gunn, Dustin Rhodes, plus big dudes who aren't giants per se like Miro, Hobbes, Ethan Page, 10, etc. Like, yes, Morrissey's still on the larger end, easily, but WWE's average size isn't as much bigger than AEW's at this point than it used to be. It's definitely less like how early on, Jericho would have been one of the larger guys on the roster.

Just to be a nitpicker Lance Archer is barelyt feature, Bononi is pretty much big guy jobber, Billy and Dustin are way too old and pretty much special attractions and Satnam is a long-term goal. Morrisey is a giant and is ready right now, it defintiely helps catch the eye having someone like that (if used properly).

I don't necessarily dispute much of that, I am just saying that we're a ways off from when RVD called them "All Petite Wrestling", a lot has changed since then.

Stokely won manager of the year right?
MJF, Morrissey, Ethan Page, Gunn Boys, Lee Moriarty, and Jade/Baddies for the women's side
My dude put together an ace stable and didn't even try, he got the smoke lmfao

I mean..with MJF this feels like a worse version of the Pinnacle with the Ass Boys, Ethan Page, and Morrisey taking the place of FTR, Spears, and Wardlow but I'm willing to give it a shot.

I wish I liked Stokely a lot more than I do. On Twitter he's hilarious and he seems like a cool guy but on TV I find him rather, "Eh, he's alright."
Pretty damn solid stable coming together though. Wonder if Spears will be part of it.

This stables makes way more sense than the Pinnacle because they seem to have a reason for banding together. They most likely feel held down and being passed by for the ex-wwe guys, whereas Pinnacle was random guys put together.
