I'm interested in reading what you all believe to be the best storyline, and why you believe it to be so. For all the flack that he gets (lots of it deserved), TK has provided us with a couple of great stories since the inception of AEW.

I can't speak about the storylines from the early days, but MJF vs. Wardlow is up there for me. Wardlow's reactions every week, even with MJF out of the picture, are my why.

MJF/Punk was legendary, it and Hangman's rise to the title were absolutely perfect.

Punk Vs MJF. It made MJF a more rounded character. Seems strangely long ago now.

Hangman's journey to the top There were some snags getting there (5 vs. 5 tag match result), but the payoff made up for that regardless.

Wardlow/MJF is the one that probably came closest to going off without a hitch.
Hangman/Omega had stronger parts but some very significant hitches. The actual story beats were the best AEW has done, but the delays and stalls hurt it.
I'm also going to throw out a dark horse candidate: despite a very rough start, the Best Friends/Miro and Kip Sabian feud had one of the best blowoffs I have ever enjoyed in wrestling, and the actual beats of the story were all fine-tuned to make that work.

3 came to mind immediately
MJF vs Wardlow and Hangman vs Kenny Omega --- both really great long-term story telling sorely lacking in wrestling these days
MJF vs CM Punk - man, this was an absolutely amazing feud

I almost consider the Punk/MJF/Wardlow saga one long storyline as opposed to back to back ones. And that is one of my favorite storylines in wrestling history. Eddie/Moxley is also up there.

The TNT Open Challenge run that led into Cody vs Brodie and Cody's 'Death of Superman' shtick was a good one.
Kingston had a neat arc between vs Danielson, vs Punk and then finally getting the big win vs. Jericho (let's not talk about where that feud's gone since).
Jurassic Express vs FTR was one of those feud everyone came away from elevated.
MJF vs Darby Allin was a really tight one-month feud that really felt like chapter 1 in something epic. That's not to mention the match quality.
They can really. really present a tight story like nobody else when they want to

MJF vs Punk was a classic feud. MJF vs. Cody had some great moments too, though I credit that more to Cody than MJF. MJF really stepped his game up with Punk, though.
Wardlow's and Hangman's rises were great, though they did have some speed bumps along the way. I also liked the slow burn of Omega re-embracing what made him The Cleaner, going from a face that felt lost in the shuffle to the heel Best Bout Machine we all knew he could be. Miro's transformation from Kip's gaming buddy to The Redeemer and Shin Megami Tensei protagonist was really cool.
Eddie Kingston hating the world is always a fun storyline.

Hangman's journey to the top Yeah, has to be Omega/Page for me too. Every beat hit perfect at just the right time with stellar matches along the way.

Best Friends vs Santana and Ortiz was excellent as well.

The rehab job they did on Adam Page over ~2 years was really great. Going from the audience being so apathetic to the guy, to him being the most over act on the show is a testament to AEW's booking.

The rise of Hangman is the best storyline wrestling has had in ages.
The hiccups did tarnish it a little, and I still think the way TK went about it hurt the story a bit, but overall it was a success in taking a guy who even I called Hangman Reigns back in the day when it was clear he was being overpushed, to a guy 2 years later beloved by pretty much everyone, myself included.
Now what TK did with all of that momentum after he won the belt, and especially after Hangman lost the title....wellllllll.....

The Inner Circle were really good for the first six months of their existence especially feuding with the Elite.
Omega's belt collector run with Christian getting a big win at last helped the Impact world title a lot IMO.
The seven labors of Jericho or whatever it was with him getting a match with MJF started very well, shame it petered out towards the end.
MJF - Wardlow - Punk I see as one long feud and is probably the best.
Hangman - Omega I remember most as an example of how AEW critics can be a little... "emotional" when Hangman lost his first chance the IWC went into full on meltdown, the decision was worse than a million Arquettes, a trillion fingerpokes of doom, a squillion gookers. Turns out Khan was committing the nefarious crime of... *checks notes* giving an employee paternity leave.

Hangman Omega is the one that immediately comes to mind, but the argument could be made for librarian Peter avalone vs Brandon cutler. It gave those two winless geeks a monumental goal to chase and some creative draws to add more matches. The final fight of theirs should have been at a ppv

Hangman vs Omega was extremely satisfying. Even the hand wringing over him and the Dark Order losing that 5 on 5 match was worth it. And it was a two year story that really was one of the best I’ve ever seen.
The one that has topped it was Punk vs MJF. That was outstanding from beginning to end. And the extended to MJF vs Wardlow which was also fantastic.
I will always have a soft spot for The Inner Circle vs The Pinnacle. People complained that it went to long. But I think overall, it was a well booked storyline.
Darby finally beating Cody after several tries. The mini feud between Mox vs Eddie. The Mox build up to winning the Title in 2020. Jericho vs Cassidy. MJF vs Cody.
