Arguably the perfect end for a stable. Taz didnt linger adding unnecessary members or personal feud.
It got all 3 members over and then went away with its purpose realized

I wish they could have had more championship success. But I agree. Starks, Hobbs and Hook are bigger stars now then when they first joined joined, and seemingly on the rise even more. And ironically, Brian Cage has fallen by the wayside on the main roster, even though the group was originally built around him. Though I don’t think that’s a huge loss, because Starks, Hobbs and Hook are better than him and have way more upside.

Part of me would have liked to see who he'd have added if it kept going, but it made sense to end on a high note.

Another reason Hobbs is dead to me
Amazing to think if this had happened a year or so ago, I doubt many people would face cared but they’ve been presented really well since then
Sure glad Taz wished his son well. That was nice of him

Also makes sense because Taz has taken more announcer roles now that he is on commentary for both hours of Dynamite, Ramapage, and Dark.

I'm sad we won't get a new Team Taz of Starks, Hook, and Danhausen. But the stable served its purpose. Hook is the up and coming young star. Starks is the fiery face who should be in the upper card and main event scene. And Hobbs is the powerhouse heel who destroys everything in his way.

I just wish we had got even ONE Starks/Hobbs/Hook Trios match. Criminal that they completely seperated Hook from the other two as soon as he made his in ring debut.

If they each respectively keep on these trajectories (and all of them remain in AEW) future mixed combinations of the three feuding or one day reuniting could be money.

I mean, Hook wrestled and then was never with the group ever again. Didn't he just elevate himself?

Yeah, that was a huge part of him becoming a meme and then the meme fulfilled into glorious reality.

I mean, Hook wrestled and then was never with the group ever again. Didn't he just elevate himself? For all intents, it was his antics in the background of all the Team Taz segments that elevated him really. The mere curiosity of what he was capable of and what he would do when given the chance, all the while maintaining a silent presence and cool demeanor while simply being teased to be unleashed by his father. By the time he made his actual in-ring debut, fans were at a fever pitch both thanks to the memes and the intrigue. Had he simply just shown up and started throwing dudes around, I don't think he would've made nearly the same level of impact.

Never forget that Dante had special orange gear made for the stable only to betray them the first time he wore it.

He was literally that Yakuza guy in the white suit in the Marge pretzel episode of the Simpsons.

All three of them got over & Taz is no longer needed. He can just Be an announcer and sit back and enjoy watching the wrestlers he helped out

Team Taz is a sterling example of AEW stable booking at its best; only Starks came in a notable name out of the three, but together they got a lot more over than Hobbs probably would have by himself, and Hook having the debut he did really put into context Taz's constant talk of Hook as their secret weapon, hyping him up until he one day got to prove that he really was. Everyone came out better for it.
Except Brian Cage, who is an assbutt and I'm happy to not count.

With Team Taz disbanded, does that also mean that the FTW title will no longer be defended, with Hook being the last holder of the belt?
