A fantastic match tonight between Konosuke and Claudio. Both brought it and had the fans standing and Applauding.
JR heavily shilled it last night and he was right about it
Konosuke has the makings of a future Ace

No-brainer TV MOTY contender, that was incredible. I don't think big losses like this hurt the guy at all; he's here on excursion, everyone's expectations are pretty well tempered about what excursions usually look like, but I'm hard pressed to think of an excursion where someone has put on so many bangers and given opportunities to shine. There's no expectation other than performance here and he's shredding it.

That match was every bit as awesome as I hoped it would be and then some. I read the spoilers and still got caught by a couple near falls from Takeshita

The match's result was pretty obvious, but that's the kind of match where who wins and who loses doesn't matter. That's all about the artistry in the ring between two masters of their craft. And it was a beautiful sight to behold. I think it was Regal who said that's the kind of match someone watches that makes them want to become a pro wrestler, and I agree.

Damn that was one hell of a match, and even though without reading the spoilers I full well knew that Claudio was more than likely retaining some of those near falls hooked me in good.
Round of applause for both men.

Konosuke wrestles with an urgency that I haven't seen since - Bret? He's the epitome of "show, don't tell". Some wrestlers tell us how serious they are about wrestling, he just shows it like the fate of the world depends on his performance.

An amazing, fun match but unfortunately my loathing of Claudio's theme song overrides everything good he does.

Amazing match. Claudio being able to wrestle to his full capabilities is such a welcome change.
Bad timing for Takeshita to be going back to DDT though.
I hope he eventually beats PAC for his title, that match could be even better.

Takeshita has really proven that he's an ace level talent. Phenomenal match and that he was able to get people to believe, even for a moment, was sheer magic.

Takeshita is great. He has a real babyface charisma about him that gets the crowds invested, despite his lack of real character or promo time. You just want to cheer him and see him do well.

That slapped in every sense of the word. Takeshita is a f***ing beast; surely New Japan are keeping a close eye on him, cause that dude is a future Tokyo Dome main eventer

Great, great match. Takeshita is 100% a future star and Claudio is, well, Claudio.

Unbelievable wrestling match. That show really overdelivered last night, especially one where they pretty much telegraphed that no titles were changing hands. All three matches were great and the main event stood out above the others by putting on a technical clinic. Loved it.

Dwelling on it more, I want Takeshita to take the All-Atlantic title off of PAC near the end of his excursion and have him defend that in DDT for a little while, fly in for a defense or two, and keep him semi-featured with his defenses on Dark or something before passing it off to someone else. I think that'd be a decent way to have him get 'a big win' and do something a little more meaningful without clashing with his return to his home promotion.

If ROH is somehow that throughout the card, I’ll watch every show. Claudio is a great guy to lead the company, and Takeshita while temporary, is a fantastic challenger. In addition to being a great bout, it also felt refreshing versus the rest of WWE/AEW right now.

Takeshita's a World Champion by this time next year. If not in AEW then somewhere.
