I always thought Nash’s looked more violent so I preferred it.

I liked Nash's more, but some of that is I just always liked Sid's chokeslam more than his powerbomb.

I liked Nash's more, but some of that is I just always liked Sid's chokeslam more than his powerbomb. Me too. Where he would just grab the guy by the neck and then jerk him in and lift him and spike him down with one arm. Also loved that whirly twirl slam where he would pick the guy up in sort of a Razor's Edge position then spin and just launch the guy. I think he stopped doing after like 93 though. The powerbomb was probably only like his third best move.

Sid's best powerbombs were the ones where he went to his knees. Nash did this style much better.

The provided gifs are about equal for me. On the whole, I seem to remember preferring Sid.

I don’t remember them being that much different honestly. I’ll go with SID because I liked him more most of the time.
Underrated SID move is his release helicopter spin.

Sid Justice powerbombs were better than Sid Vicious or Sycho Sid powervombs.

Kevin Nash had half the power bomb that Sid had. And Sid had half the legs Kevin Nash did.

I always loved how ugly Sid's powerbomb was. It felt fitting of his character.

Nash all the way. He didn't need to drive the opponent all the way to the mat to make that powerbomb impressive. Just his sheer size did the trick.

I always liked Nash jacknife version. He's so big that all he has to do is release you in the air and it looks great as a bump

Nash's regularly looked lazy and like a struggle even when lifting lighter guys. You want a forceful WCW powerbomb? Give me Dean Malenko!

I vote Sid here. There's just something more pleasing about the timing and balance. More symmetrical, more drive on the descent, and when the guys hit the mat, they seem to deflate.

Honestly I think both of them strike the exact middle distance between being dangerous and looking bad which is kinda the opposite of wrestling

I loved the 1995 rivalry between these two.
Sure it was clunky, but so was Optimus Prime vs Megatron in the 80s cartoon series.

Like, he made sure people were properly horizontal before the release.

Like, he made sure people were properly horizontal before the release. Nash seems to have really gotten the safety of this style of powerbomb down. But...to Gizzark's comment...I remember rewatching a lot of 90's AJPW when every powerbomb looked like this, compared to now, when everyone does low releases...well, I feel like there's a very good reason so few people do them like this anymore.
