Give Jericho his flowers, btw. Even with a few bumps this has been a great year for him. Yeah, say what you want about the guy as a person, but he still got it in ring.

Reminds me of when Mox spent the entire Jericho Cruise with his eyepatch. Feel like he also had some New Japan matches with the eyepatch too, but it's been a moment. He definitely fought Minoru Suzuki with the patchz

I have been considering getting my kid into wrestling but between AEW’s blood, NJPW’s swearing and Pieter, and WWE’s stupid (admittedly recently reduced) I probably won’t anytime soon He’s in bed by like 7:45 anyway though You should definitely introduce him to Pieter.

It's never to early to introduce ass...also show him acclaimed then he'll scissor his friends.

AEW ain't against working Meltzer it seems It's a smart move. There's a reason why people in the business like to try to discredit Meltzer, and it's because he's often right. Working him just forces him to release false information and gives them credibility when they try to no sell his.

I just wanted to make a public note/apology if anyone thought I was purposely misgendering Sonny Kiss earlier. I was not aware that Sonny revealed this year that she preferred "she/her" pronouns. I had only ever heard of her being genderfluid and not caring about which pronouns were used. This may still even be the case but since a preference was made public I would much rather use them. There weren't any complaints from anyone on the board but I respect Sonny as a person because of how she has been described as a positive light by so many backstage so I wanted to say this just in case.

OK just got home, IMO biggest pops (not in any particular order but kinda): -CM Punk -Jon Moxley -Chris Jericho -Darby Allin -Ricky Starks (especially once he Joseph Joestar'd his way to the crowd and started hoisting children up) -Danhausen -Orange Cassidy Biggest heel heat: -Jericho (kinda, the crowd was split on booing and cheering him) -Sammy -Ass Boys -Christian appearing on the tron Other stuff: -I didn't notice until tonight that JR comes out through the heel tunnel lol -A big f*** you to the transphobic dick seated directly behind me!!!!! Also your bitchfit about the "be tolerant of others" message they play before every show was super embarrassing dude!!!! -There was a small "HOLY SHIT" chant in one section for the Jericho/Moxley up next graphic during the commercial there -Max Caster walked by our section randomly in the middle of the show and one dude was like "MAX!!!!" and he was like "AH!!!!" -I think Jericho had Moxley in the Walls for approximately 42 minutes -Similarly while I do like the Elite drama sitting in the crowd for the Hangman/Bucks/Dark Order talk it out segment that shit felt like it was 15 minutes of them talking (while I am very happy Hangman picked his friends who supported him over the Bucks) -I don't want to take credit for the "EAT IT" chant regarding the ear ring but I was chanting it shortly before it started lmao SO (please tell me the eat it chant made it to TV) -Tony Khan came out like five times during this show to jump on stage and scream "LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!!!!" -I don't know how it came across on TV but the atmosphere for the main event was insane, and then Punk showed up and it went nuclear -Section 138 chanted for themselves all night (but only during the commercials as far as I heard) Also unsure if this was shown on TV but this was Regal during the final staredown:

I've been so concerned about waiting for MJF that I genuinely didn't expect Punk. That was awesome.

Did anyone else think that was an N64 laying in the ring?

My only wish from the Jericho/Mox match was that we could've gotten Jericho's first WCW theme as his entrance for the Lionhart!
