When he was taking Callis to task over a couple of things during the trios match he was fun, which is just further proof that these days, JR would be best used for sit-down interviews that have a little depth to them instead of commentary.

And my dude had the best thing on the menu (my non-biscuit go to actually.) Shame. ...I don't remember this. It's like the unholy love child of a Waffle House scattered/smothered/covered and a Skyline chili with everything on it. (granted, probably because my Tudor's experiences have been predominantly drive-thru and that is decidedly not something you'd remotely try to eat and drive with)

Yes...it is f***ing amazing and no it is absolutely not something you'd try and eat while driving lol.

Oh dear he detracted from things again. The stupid spelling nonsense and then being overly aggressive towards Don. I don't expect them to be best buddies (JR doesn't like that word) but with Kenny a face now it went too far so it sounded like he was the heel on commentary while Don basically played it straight. It got to the point I was half expected Kenny to instally turn back heel which deflated the moment a bit.
He also mentioned how much he loves using fite TV again. Despite being in America and actually at the shows.

"I'm cool, I'm hip" about Penelope Ford was my favourite tonight.

I was a big fan during his WCW & WWE runs but nowadays I would rather listen to Tony/Taz/Excalibur.

In watching back The Acclaimed saving Billy Gunn, hearing JR sarcastically going "Listen, listen" multiple times in that segment really kills the moment. I have no idea what he thinks that's supposed to accomplish in presenting someone, but it's atrocious and it's not working.

In fairness, everything about him had always suggested future curmudgeon. His grumpiness started when he first came to the WWF and then it really got bad when he came back after his Bell's palsy attack. Honestly, until the Attitude era, with a few exceptions, JR was out of place in the WWF.
