It really did have that big time feel, there was a section that did a holy shit chant just for the match graphic popping up. Moxley felt like a barbaric version of Cena, while Jericho just exuded that "I still have it after all these years" energy. I didn't realize the Walls was during a commercial break, that part was insane, each time Moxley fell back down a part of me was actually like "oh my god is that it?"
Also did the "EAT IT" chant about the earring make TV or was that during a commercial?! Cuz that was one of the funniest live moments I've experienced.

I’m stealing that. Probably why I’ve been enjoying him so much lately.

That’s pretty nuts that the walls spot came off organically live, watching on tv with the commercial break felt like such a long time.

I didn't like Mox kicking out of the Judas Effect but other than that what I caught was great. This is where I'm at also. Once he kicked out of it I just laughed out loud and thought to myself "of course he got to kick out of it...of course he did..." I was alright with it because Jericho took forever to get the pin. Like, if that was going to be the finish, he wouldn't have taken like 20 seconds to climb over him, so it was okay by me.

Agreed, that Walls bit was about as good a 'face is in the heels submission, can he last' spot as you can get. I did hear the 'EAT IT' chant, haha , though I think it was during commercial (I was watching on Fite)

Mox must have the powers of the Q continuum with all the abuse and pain he handled.

I know Jericho gets some flack on here at times, but I’m never not amazed by his ability to reinvent himself and continually able to still go in the ring.
Personally, especially considering how a majority of AEW’s fan base feel about the word “sports entertainer” this latest reinvention Chris has underwent as “THE” sports entertainer is another stroke of genius.
I also didn’t mind Moxley kicking out of the Judas Effect as it’s one of the most protected moves in wrestling, and inevitably someone was going to kick out of it, but turning the lion tamer into a resthold was a bit too much.
To be honest, if Punk wouldn’t had been ready for “All Out” I would have been perfectly fine with this same match being the main event of that show as they built to a hell of a pay per view quality match in just two-to-three weeks.

I think the issue at times for Jericho at least in the last year is some of the stuff he's involved with just tends to drag just a little too long. ATT, Kingston, even MJF drug a bit longer than it needed to. Matches are still very good and I think a very good case could be made that this AEW run is the best in terms of consistent match quality of Jericho's career,

And it's like... that's not even necessarily a Jericho fault since he's by no means the only person in AEW over the last year to have "GET ON WITH IT!" as an issue, which speaks more to a booking issue than a performer issue.
Really, since he came back, got healthy, and got off the booze, his matches have consistently far better you'd expect both in terms of how some of his matches were prior to that, where he is in his career, and how matches for his comparable agegroup peers have typically gone.

Jericho is also just a much better heel than face. Granted, he looked gassed in some matches pretty early in 2020, but I put that more on "Wrestling outdoors during the Florida summer" than anything else.
