The teeth came out today. Took IV anthestesia and ended up waking up at some point while they were yanking out one of the bottom teeth. Wasn't painful but I felt the pressure for sure. Slept a bunch when I got home but I'm feeling okay right now. Just going with the prescription regimine they gave me. I want to eat something so bad but anytime I drink water for the prescriptions everything is still sensitive so I haven't even tried a protein shake yet. Got like a week's worth of protein shakes and fiber one brownies when I can start eating though.
At some point i asked the nurse to put a pizza in my IV and she refused, which I think was pretty rude of her.

Are they being cut out, or pulled out?
I only ever had the later done.
In which case all I can say is don't chew on your lip to test how numb your mouth is. That just makes for more pain once it wears off.
To say nothing of all the blood.
EDIT: Oh, nevermind.

To be honest I don't know what was pulled and what was cut. I think the top were probably pulled but the bottom cut because they were impacted but I could be wrong.

To be honest I don't know what was pulled and what was cut. I think the top were probably pulled but the bottom cut because they were impacted but I could be wrong. I was fortunate to have been born with just a single wisdom tooth. Unfortunately, at the age of 40 that single tooth decided that it would like to start moving, pushing almost horizontally into the tooth next door. It's only given me trouble once, but the dentist has told me it will have to be cut out of my jaw eventually. The downside to this is the tooth is perilously close to a nerve canal, so I may end up with permanent nerve damage on the right side of my face.

If I remember correctly, if they are impacted, they cut them. If they aren't, they pull. They used to give you the teeth afterwards. I think I still got mine somewhere in my attic in a storage box, for some odd reason.
