The name sounds like the evil band Wyld Stallyns has to beat with the help of Rufus and Death.

I can kinda see Bear Country not necessarily being a name to take seriously, either as a heel team or in general, but Iron Savages is kinda... generic.
Though they're probably glad to not be hearing Berenstain Bear or Fear and Loathing jokes for a while.

Bear Country sounded like a weekend retreat for burly, hairy gay men. Iron Savages isn't a whole lot better, though.

Think it really boils down to the question of which you prefer, goofy or generic.

Think it really boils down to the question of which you prefer, goofy or generic. Y'know, Bear Country trying to do a circa 2010 SERIOUS suit-wearing heel gimmick would probably be very unintentionally hilarious. (cue this episode of Dynamite brought to you by Casual Male XL)

At least we're seeing these undercard acts develop
Looks like directions for AEW, ROH, and both are happening with multiple groups

Hey if this gets the former Bear Country something resembling a push then I'm all for it; I've seen them in WrestlePro a bunch and they're way too good to be used as jobbers.
