Seriously, that’s the kinda line that makes it seem like he’s trying to shift all of the blame onto Kingston and using Kingston’s past to make Sammy look like a victim. Which has also backfired since Kingston himself has said that he blames himself for his actions and that he should have reacted better.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a wrestler's stock fall so hard without drugs and/or crime involved. Went from being the future to many (most?) not caring if he left tomorrow.

That said if they excused every kayfabe heelish action like that he could salvage everything.
Ruby is a little annoyed they broke her hand but Sammy just brushes it off that she doesn't like their love.

That's the big thing. The contrast in apologies. Kingston being reached out for comment and just says he was wrong. No defense. No "we were both wrong". No "he was pushing me and I shouldn't have responded the way I did". Just a flat, mature, "I was wrong like a goddamn adult. Sammy storming over to blame shift with paragraphs and that noxious little comment is absolutely the wrong way to approach a situation that he now absolutely looks like the asshole in. Yeah Eddie did what he did and shouldn't have, but nobody's sympathizing with Sammy or thinking he's the hapless victim who was absolutely in the right like his statements wants people to believe. Not now that he's said what he said how he said it. Dude opened his mouth and came out worse for it when he's the one who was attacked.

He's already in a locker room with respected vets like Regal/Christian/Big Show/Danielson. If they can't keep him in order I'm not sure it would be any different elsewhere.

People can't really babysit you and force you to grow up. It's something you have to choose to do yourself eventually and Sammy obviously isn't ready. If you removed the names and the wrestling references and told me that statement was from an angry teenage girl/boy I'd believe you. It's so bizarre that he put out a whole ass rebuttal to Eddie's apology.

It'd be a huge timesink and I need to do the WWE one soonish (and I keep meaning to do an NXT one and putting it off), but he already dropped from 113 points to -19 as it was.
