So twitter saying Hangman didn't get involved cause he didn't think what Punk said was worth getting in a fight over Hangman was gone already. Next weeks BTE should just be him silently drinking in a bar alone for 10 minutes |

What "two years"? This was like four months ago. We have zero way of knowing he was going to be the top babyface of the company for two years, and he also in no way should have been. He's also still not. "The future". He's 45 on a comeback nostalgia tour and his ring work is passable but he does not have two years at the top of a company like AEW in the tank. Also, you specifically claimed that Hangman's one comment was somehow cutting him off at the knees like it was ruining his rise to the top, when he's, again, CM Punk. And nto even a shiny, chrome-plated CM Punk robot who would absolutely be 'of the future' in like a cool '50s sci-fi kind of way. And just to reassert this: you called everyone in the thread 'deranged' for not seeing it this exact way. The last person who should be +1-ing tribalism claims is someone who's calling everyone who doesn't agree with him crazy. Whats my stance about this issue? Have I really said that other than thinking the Elite deserve a lot of blame? The one sided way of everything in here is deranged. If you don’t think Tony was going to build the company around Punk, you’re clueless. He has literally said he was going to in multiple interviews. People have been giving the Bucks blame. Show me the vast volume of posts that say "The Bucks did nothing wrong here their hands are clean". Not just discussing how much blame there is or having a different view on it, but like outright saying "No they're flawless". So you're insulting a whole thread for points that almost nobody is actually making. Frankly, the lack of clarity about your stance on the issue is because tonally all you're doing is yelling at people for being deranged and saying 'the babyface of the future' like you're running a car expo in 1953. |

As an aside I'm not a huge UCF guy so every time Mike Jackson has been mentioned in this thread I think of the old balding Mid South & Crockett jobber. Anytime Mike Jackson pops up in Impact or GCW it’s a must watch for me. The guy is incredible for a 73 year old. Can we just give him the AEW championship? It somehow wouldn’t be the strangest thing to happen this year. |
