Again the thing for Steel depends in what happened with his wife. Multiple sources confirmed that he wasn't there when the incident started but hid wife was in there watching Larry and had a broken foot. So I could see them cutting him a bit of a break because of seeing red for his wife

Frankly speaking, ideally if Punk is staying he should make apologies. Everyone else should at different levels, but Punk has to shoulder the blame. It exploded thanks to that media scrum where he went on and on which was the powder keg and match that led to everything exploding.
In the end, he has become the New York Yankees. Whether he likes it or not, he's that now, and it ain't working trying to be CM Punk when he's grown past that.
