New York should put the records up on their page: On second thought, maybe not yet. Man Lacey Evans' career is... sure something. I keep saying it… There were reports in 2019 that they were aiming for her to be a top star in the division on par with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Yet she’s never come within an arse’s roar of that. All those acts we say are booked badly? She wishes she was booked as good as that.

Yes, let’s start drawing up some big plans for her.” But then she cuts a promo or gets in the ring and those plans just don’t seem to work out at all… She’s like a Jade Cargill that never showed any improvement at all.

It wasn't just how they flopped with her being an ace it's how badly she was booked, start and stop, bad face and heel turns, really bad storylines (Looking at you Ric Flair), just... there WAS something there, there was even something there with her first return vignette about her abusive father but it went on too long and once again I go back to bad heel/face turns and execution... which got dropped immediately as well anyway. When she didn't beat Bayley for the belt the writing just kinda felt like it was on the wall... and now she's basically just a warm body in the Smackdown Division like... most of that division is right now...

I really like Lacey Evans as a talent, but she seemingly has Anne Hathaway syndrome. The moment the rumors started of her being build up as a top star, she received backlash for being "Vince's type". To no fault of her own she was booked into oblivion and rejected. How do you come back from that? Likely never.

Colten Gunn's f***ing Muhammad Ali record always makes me so happy. New York should put the records up on their page: On second thought, maybe not yet. If you told me this was Impact's current roster, I would 100% believe you.

It'd be the funniest f***ing thing in the world if MJF beats Mox and then ALSO has a post-show scrum muffin meltdown. I'm half expecting the Bucks to bring out muffins. Seems like the kind of twattish thing they'd do. That'll be on BTE. What I want is for them to come out with new custom gear that just has muffins all over it. I would love them forever. *CM Punk is bad mouthing his co-workers, and the people who helped start and build the company* *Tony Khan nodding along, looking traumatized, nodding along, looking sad, nodding along, looking uncomfortable for 20 minutes* *Also Tony Khan in his Death Note inner monologue voice* "What am I going to say during the Keith Lee and Swerve scrum, OH and I also have the Toni one coming up, wait what's Punk saying...maybe I should nod, and look uncomfortable like I don't know what he's saying b/c I'm too busy thinking about the stuff coming up which makes sense that I would look sad, and traumatized while thinking about that...oh what's Punk saying?...wait I want one of those flavored waters, I wonder if he'll let me have one...now what am I going to say at the next scrum........" *TK continues to look sad, and worried, and uncomfortable* You do you Tony.

When she didn't beat Bayley for the belt the writing just kinda felt like it was on the wall... and now she's basically just a warm body in the Smackdown Division like... most of that division is right now... She debuted and was immediately thrust into a feud with Becky, which did her no favors. Now, the matches were decent because Becky was the perfect person to go against Lacey. But you can't debut Lacey and put her right into a feud with Becky, that's just setting her up for failure. She's solid in the ring, has a good look, does really good character work, but it seems like they're never gonna let her near the title because of getting pregnant. Smackdown's main event scene is a f***ing inferno fire with how good it is, but the women's division needs work. It desperately needs Toxic Attraction, Tiffany Stratton, and Tegan Nox (when her visa stuff is sorted out). And CM Punk probably hates them all because they'd say "Hi" to Colt and the Elite if they saw them.

Punk, Meanwhile: I'll bury the Bucks and Adam Page in one breath, and make fun of Colt Cabana for sharing his mom's bank account with my next. I'l take a muffin... AND EAT IT!!! *sparkle*

twitter.com/ufcfightpass/status/1593797620366856194He seems to be making jokes about the whole thing. I honestly hopes that he cools off after the injury and comes back as a Brock Lesnar like part time heel. That way he’s not in the locker room all the time brining in negativity and can still draw as a massive heel

I mean even once it became clear she wasn't getting that megapush she was still just also really bad and given shit material without really showing any glimmer of something people could latch onto beyond it for her on-screen existence. Backstory or not, she's just not very good. It's tough to come back from rejection when you aren't very good.

While I agree with the last sentence, whether it applies to Lacey Evans or not solely depends on if she really is bad. I don't think she is. I think she works a fine heel style and that she can read her environment rather well.

Punk cracking jokes about the scrum is real “I’m the edgy badass I always knew I’d grow up to be when I was in 7th grade!” energy.

I'm glad that Punk can laugh about it. Laughing about things instead of being angry is a good sign of accepting things and moving on.
Now, whether he'd find it funny if the Elite joked about it to is a different matter, I guess. I hope he can find it funny from all sides and not just when he's doing the jokes. He can't always handle when people "shoot" on him (ask Hangman about that) so I have my doubts.

Apparently they are still selling Punk's shirt at shows and had a new Christmas ornament of him on sale on the site. Probably doesn't mean anything. Maybe just trying to make what they still can off his merch.

Punk doing MMA commentary is like Ryan Leaf doing NFL commentary or Vanilla Ice doing commentary for a Death Row Records documentary.
