I think it's total kayfabe myself; its just unfortunate that with all the drama that's gone with Rosa the last few months, people are taking it at face value

Media Person-“Hey congrats on winning the belt, Champ!” AEW Champions-“Let me tell you something about the raggedy-ass pieces of trash in this pissant company!!!” I read that as Scott Steiner and now really want them to bring him in

Is Toni actually good again? I always heard so much about her then she had like two good matches in her entire WWE run. I was not impressed with her in WWE but she's turned into a real workhorse in AEW. One of Tony's best signings yet IMO

Take control of your company TK But then he'd have to stop doing his cocaine and being everyone's friend

Every single Tony Khan hater is going to run victory lap after victory lap after victory lap after victory lap this week. And shit, they would be in their right to. Naked Well now dammit. Will you all at least turn around? I'm very self-conscious about my body.

I think it's total kayfabe myself; its just unfortunate that with all the drama that's gone with Rosa the last few months, people are taking it at face value Yup, definitely the vibe I've got. 1. AEW goes through a backstage drama arc where all the news for awhile is about who's not getting along with who in real life. 2. AEW holds a backstage talent meeting to hash out a bunch of the issues and questions people might have. 3. AEW continues to allow some of the backstage drama to linger over the booking, mainly with how they did Punk vs. Moxley ("Oh my God, Punk got squashed, is he leaving?!") The not very logical Step 4 would be "AEW then proceeds to give the OK to a bunch of their wrestlers to go out and hash real life drama out in front of the media, no kayfabe." The much more logical Step 4 would be "AEW takes that drama and uses it to generate interest and blur kayfabe lines, since wrestling fans who insist they soooooo hate 'reality television' live for this stuff." Basically, I think people are getting sucked in by the words of a bunch of people who literally lie and pretend for a living. Now, if someone says "I don't like AEW doing this, I'm not into stuff that tries to blur the lines in pro wrestling"? Totally get that. I'm cool with it in small doses, but this feels like it's going beyond that, so I'm hoping it goes no further. The only thing I think is pretty much totally legit is that Malakai might be going through some tough stuff right now and might want to get away and clear his head; there'd be no reason to make any of that up or exaggerate it, and I hope he's doing whatever he needs to do to get better. Note, I'm saying this without having read up basically anything about what Punk said, so maybe that's all "woah, this is REAL now", but it's Punk, so I doubt it.

Unlike Punk, I think this is more of a work. It sounds better in context compared to the choice soundbite standing on its own.

You know that Non-Alcoholic Beer Moxley plugged and then got sponsored by last media scrum? Maybe make that the drink of choice for AEW backstage... and nothing else... Athletic Brewing rocks, so it’d be a good decision for them.

AEW rn going through some End of Evangelion Komm Susser tod shit AEW needs it to be like End of Evangelion in Super Robot Wars when shit seems dire then Amuro Ray in the Nu Gundam with Mazinkaiser and Roy Fokker from Macross beat some ass.

Yeah, she later went on to talk about not wanting to just be Rosa's friend standing in her corner and also wanting the title for herself. So I think this one was completely kayfabe.

I’ve become a fan of Toni in a short time, she’s good. Glad she won.

Based on the video I saw from Meerkat Ultra about the 2017 Stardom Janken tournament; that wasn't Toni. That was Tessa Blanchard DRESSED as Toni. (Seriously, watch the video. It checks out.)

I think Toni celebrated her win by knocking back a few too many with her big brother James again.
