It was a 3-month long midcard title reign with 5 successful title defenses on the developmental brand. This wasn’t the Undertaker’s streak here. He's essentially had it since October. He lost it in a ladder match and then won it right back from the guy who took it from him. It was the first time he was pinned in a singles match on TV since November. D ude was protected and the title meant something to me as a viewer. I just wish it was used on someone who had more to gain from it. It definitely felt more important than the NXT Title. |

I don't know if was a result of maybe Vince not giving it as much attention (according to HBK he's calling all the shots with what happening on the show) but NXT has really been good about protecting their champions. Carmelo was super protected and I believe November was when Mandy last took a pin as well. A distraction rollup loss to Cora Jade caused by KLR in the buildup to Wargames. Bron obviously hasn't lost much either. Only times I remember him getting pinned were against Ciampa at Halloween Havoc and Dolph at Stand and Deliver but in both those cases he challenging for the title. He hasn't been pinned at all while champion and he's been the champ for most of the time this year. |

Is there some sort of company wide mandate that all the Anoa'i family members who aren't Roman Reigns must wrestle the same style, and use the same moves?

The worst thing is this dominance of the Bloodline just feels so forced, rather than The Shield which felt organic.

Is there some sort of company wide mandate that all the Anoa'i family members who aren't Roman Reigns must wrestle the same style, and use the same moves? I think it’s more that the Usos and Solo are very influenced by (obviously) Rikishi and Umaga who got the Usos into wrestling in the first place. |

They are really going to make people hate The Anoa'i Family You might even say they're... Anoa'i-ing everybody. Is it any wonder the Bloodline are over? They win all the time. It’s nWo syndrome kicking in. Why would you cheer any of the other geeks in the company when this lot are dominating every person they come up against? If it was that easy, every company would have one guy just win indefinitely and head to the bank. And was Drew McIntyre a geek no-one was cheering? People can dislike it, and I get the reasons why, but it's bogus to pretend it is objectively bad when there is plenty to suggest it's very popular. I think it is objectively bad. Or at least WWE's booking in general, by this same method for the past 20 years. They just can't seem to write a fictional universe where the roster isn't divided up into "Basically God, and also a bunch of scrubs are here too I guess, whatever". There's just this giant hole between the untouchable invincible plot-armour-clad tediously unbelievable #1 guy (Reigns, Lesnar, Cena, some would mention HHH before that too) and then everybody else, even if they're nearly top guys, gets treated like a total chump, and then it becomes boring because "lol cena wins" (or, in this case, Reigns). Then, when you throw in a huge family, each of which has one or more titles as well, it just totally blocks out anybody else who could've used some of that limelight, because now you have Unbeatable Brick Wall at the top of every division. Also I hate dominant heel factions who just trample all over the entire roster, it's boring and tedious, but I'll admit that one is subjective. It kills motivation to watch though, because there's no variety and there's no reason to bother cheering for the guys you do like, because they're definitely going to lose, probably by some stupid screwy finish, to get bumped back down the card into Nowheresville. Hate the guy on top? Well, I guess you could always watch the tag matches... oh, wait. Ok, how about some NXT instead? Now Solo's got the NA belt. There's just no escaping it, if you don't like Roman and his family, they're just always there to remind you how one-dimensional WWE's booking is/has been for years when it comes to ramming chosen ones down our throats. Especially awkward when the RAW and Smackdown titles are unified, because there's even less opportunity for somebody else, anybody else, to get their time to shine and for fans to click with their moment of success. |

I get if the "one guy" booking was for a babyface toppling monsters, but doing it with ostensibly the top villain of the company is honestly kinda depressing to watch on a weekly basis.

I get if the "one guy" booking was for a babyface toppling monsters, but doing it with ostensibly the top villain of the company is honestly kinda depressing to watch on a weekly basis. I was going to make more of a point of saying that, but Cena's pretty much always been a face during his Teflon John run, and that was equally annoying. The heavy heel runs are worse, in my opinion, I agree with you there, because there's never any relief for the audience who wants to see the good guy overcome the big bad who deserves what's coming to him for being a cheating arsehole. There can't be any suspense, or any buy-in to the idea that the big strong face is coming to show the baddy what's what and set the world right, if we know Roman's going to win. Especially when there's prime opportunities where the stars couldn't align any more perfectly for a gigantic pop and restoration in the faith that WWE can be good again, like Clash with Drew losing. When are you ever going to get a hotter crowd for Roman losing than that? Loud UK crowd, in a UK venue (first stadium show in 30 years, no less), with the UK guy, when everyone's just waiting to see Reigns lose the belts - after a Drew video package, Broken Dreams, and him losing out on the spotlight during the pandemic. I know some people say that nobody outside of the UK cares about Drew and that Reigns is the bigger needle mover, but with that logic we might as well just call it the Roman Reigns Show, because it won't end. Is it so hard to imagine a way out of him losing? Drop it to Drew, Reigns is furious, goes hard after Drew, eventually gets the titles back by getting more and more desperate, more and more violent, more and more sneaky, whatever, there's loads of ways to do it. But they just don't, and it's really irritating. |

I am eager to watch weekly WWE with Vince finally gone, but until the Bloodline is without any titles, I can not bring myself to do it. Everything about them sucks the fun out of any show they are on. I could stick to Raw for now I guess

I just realized something. Which brother is Solo gonna hold the tag titles with first? Jimmy or Jey?
My guess is Jimmy.
Jey was killing it as a main eventer 2 years ago. I want them to go back to that storyline.
