Would be a weird time for Cole to return with The Elite not on the show, and MJF clearly in the world title scene for whoever wins at Grand Slam That gate is crazy though

How does that gate compare to a normal TV live gate?

DJ Whoo Kid will be the special guest ring announcer for Grand Slam... now can someone tell me who that is? In a nutshell, he was 50 Cent’s dj in the beginning when 50 first got big. Since then, producer, dj, etc. Ever heard a mixtape song with the dj in the background shouting random stuff? New album dropping soon! Street kings volume seven! It’s the mixtape! Good chance one of them was Whoo Kid. He’s a big NY guy which is the reason for this I’m guessing.

How does that gate compare to a normal TV live gate? Normal live shows go into venues/arenas that seat 5-7K average, some bigger shows get near 8-10K Ashe is a stadium that can hold about 17-20K people for this event, and given it's already surpassed last year, which I think did over 17K, it's a testament to AEW's growth This is probably going to be one of the highest live attendance marks they've ever done.

Why are Joe and Wardlow wasting time in a tag match instead of defending their singles titles?
How seriously hard is it to book them like Vader?

The tickets are also a bit higher than the average TV taping hence why the gate is higher this year despite having 5K less people (as of the last count). I do know they've moved a good amount of tickets since last week once the full card got announced. They're also doing combo deals now which is a tactic WWE does (which is smart and you should try it yourself).

This should be a good show. I really wanted to go, but I've got other plans and getting to Arthur Ashe is just miserable. Prudential Center's like 20 minutes from me, so prioritizing Full Gear and Rampage. Should be a good one!

It's a very good thing after all of WWE's letdowns that he says something like this and I believe him.

Probably the most I've looked forward to their TV cards. Should be a fun week.

The Acclaimed and Orange Cassidy need to win their respective matches/titles. The last two weeks have felt like a new chapter for AEW, and need to keep going in that direction. We know MJF is eventually getting the world title, so even better.

Aint no way Acclaimed don't win after All Out Cassidy I think beats PAC because I think Ethan Page beating him at Full Gear makes more sense.

There are about 12k tickets out to this show. It’ll top around 13k, unless something really crazy happens tomorrow. I would expect just shy of 1k of those tickets are comps. Higher gate is due to the ticket prices. Average sold is north of $80. I think an average live gate is somewhere around 200k, give it take.

I'll be there live tomorrow! Super excited. An incredibly deep card and I think we're going to get some pretty big moments. I'll see Jericho challenging for the ROH World Title. That just sounds surreal to say.
