I can only imagine what the reaction to this would be if Vince was still in charge lol

I will just say a merger of that size would lead to a ton of litigation. That's a lot of consolidation in a major industry.

So Peacock/Discovery+/HBO Max would combine.... LOL. As others have said, this will have a LOT of legal red tape.

There will only be like 3 or 4 major streaming services left, and I still would not be able to find Mission Hill online. Thank God I have the DVD set .

WWE's deal with USA would be up that year I believe, not sure on the Peacock deal. Interesting.

Hell. This is hell. Hoping badly that this turns out like when Hasbro tried to buy Mattel and Mattel came to the conclusion that there'd be no defense against an anti-monopoly case.

I just don't think it would be allowed. That's a monopoly.

I don't really see this merger going through.
AT least without having to spin a bunch of things out.

Less than a one percent chance of it happening, though I guess this would more likely be Comcast/NBCU absorbing WBD than the other way around, wouldn't it?
Would definitely lack the "dumpster fire sideshow" of whatever the hell is going on now over there though.

Less than a one percent chance of it happening, though I guess this would more likely be Comcast/NBCU absorbing WBD than the other way around, wouldn't it? Would definitely lack the "dumpster fire sideshow" of whatever the hell is going on now over there though. Warner Brothers Discovery's market cap is $30.3 Billion. Comcast NBCU's market cap is $152.12 Billion. So yeah, NBCU would be buying out WBD. And if I were a betting man, I think the safe money would be on WWE getting the rub there, while AEW is either kicked off the network entirely (which would be really bad news for them as I don't think anyone else would offer the same level of money WBD would), or getting roughly the same offer they are currently getting, which would be a disaster as well, because Tony is gambling on getting a massive rights increase.
