They literally advertised and hyped up that she would have backup at Rampage beforehand. Considering Jade Cargill's entire schtick has been having people running interference to save her from a loss for the last 6 months, yes having backup in a title match would be considered a big deal and a game changer. But please do continue your condescension. But who is to say she won't do something? Like the match hasn't even happened yet? She won't be Jade's next challenger I guess but that was all speculation for a reason You're not wrong that something could happen with her in the title match. But the rub that she would get from possibly being the one who stopped Jade's cheating bullshit would be better served building somebody who is actually going to be there next week, instead of a ploy to bring in a few new eyes. |

It's weird, I think TK is generally pretty incompetent at booking women, but Toni has looked so much better in AEW than she ever did in WWE I think it's more on Toni herself then TK booking. I think she got her mind and body right. |

I'm not thrilled to see literally every match have a dirty finish so far Watching NXT Worlds Collide my 5yo pointed out how the bad guys kept winning and even asked me why that happened yesterday If his bedtime wasn’t before 8 he’d be probably be asking me about the cheating |

It's a celebrity pop to draw a few eyes to what would otherwise be a standard Jade squash. Like I said. Drawing eyes to the worst part of the product. |
