When JBL feuded with Taker, he brought in Gangrel and Viscera as the Ministry to be squashed for one night.

What are some stables ,groups and factions that dwindled to 1 or 2 members and may of even teamed together a bit afterwards Dungeon Of Doom. by the end it was just Jimmy Hart managing the faces of fear The Heenan Family always alot of members but by wrestlemania 7 it was just Haku and Barbarian who teamed for a bit after Heenan retired
DX 2000 era by summer Triple H was doing his own thing and DX just consisted of Road Dogg and X pac. Nation of Domination by the fall all that was left of The Nation was just D Lo and Mark Henry and they continued teaming into 1999 Main Event Mafia 2009 by the end it was Literally just Scott Steiner in it. 1 more examples to an extent would be Million Dollar Corporation by 1996 It was pretty much just tatanka and 123 kid with Dibiase as Ringmaster never really appeared with the other members Even NWO Black and white by summer of 1999 was just vincent and Horace It was actually down to three members as Perfect was still part of it as well. Heenan managed him at Mania VII against Boss Man in the blow off to the Heenan making fun of Boss Man's Mom storyline. When Heenan retired from managing to focus on commentating he sold Perfect to The Coach. However for some reason Barbarian and Haku weren't part of the deal and both just floundered aimlessly without a manager before both disappeared after the 92 Rumble.

The Ascension was a proper stable in NXT, right? Then within three months it went down to just Kenneth Cameron, who was later joined by Konnor, then Cameron gets sacked (before pursuing a lucrative career in signing TNA contract extensions), then Konnor's going singles until Viktor gets his attention and they team up under the Ascension name.
Which, of course, makes so much sense considering the characters of their former members Epico, Shaul Guerrero and their initial leader Ricardo friggin' Rodriguez.

The Dangerous Alliance slowly went down to just Paul E, Rude, and Madusa by late 92, and then Madusa split from the group, and Paul E was gone by the end of the year.

According to JR, Watts didn't like so much main event/upper midcard talent being tied up in one stable. So he slowly killed it off when he took over in summer 92.

Nobody in that stable ascended very far. Seriously. When the most successful guy in the faction was f'n Epico, the stable was a failure.

T-Bar and Mace were what was left of Retribution... and then one became a model. The other was never seen again.
I love that this is probably the most recent time it's happened yet NOBODY here thought about it. 🤣

Most recent is in NXT with the D'Angelo family just being down to Tony and Stacks...and currently that's just down to Stacks since Tony got injured.

This one just popped into mind - Da Baldies. At first, it was Tony DeVito, Spanish Angel, Vito the Skull, and PN News. Not long after they formed, Vito and News left (with Vito going to WCW). I didn't keep with this group after that, but I recall that Vic Grimes joined the group. I also had read that Redd Dogg (Later known as Rodney Mack) and Rod Price joined, but I don't remember this. After a while, it was just down to DeVito and Angel.
I also must note that La Resistance had a weird history. Yes, it started as a tag team with Rene Dupree and Sylvain Grenier, but then Rob Conway joined and they became a trio. Then when Dupree was drafted to Smackdown, it was just down to Sylvain Grenier and Rob Conway.

The Dudleys had a bunch of people before eventually dwindling down to just Bubba and D-Von (and occasionally Spike).

The Truth Commission in WWF. They started out as the Commandant managing Recon, Tank, Sniper and The Interrogator (Kurrgan).
Tank only lasted a few matches and Commandant was quickly replaced by the Jackyl.
Eventually Recon and Sniper left, and Jackyl and Kurrgan formed/joined the Oddities. But Recon and Sniper still felt like the last dregs of the group; even though they changed their names and team name (Armageddon) they had that bland Truth Commission stink on them.

I think The Truth Commission was one the most pointless stables of all time, they did absolutely nothing of note. Would have just been better to debut Kurrgan alone he would have stood out more.

Wes Brisco and Garrett Bischoff have repped Aces and Eights as their tag team label long after much of the then roster literally and figuratively buried it in a funeral segment nearly ten years after.

I take great pride in the fact that I never watched one episode of NXT Fuchsia. So I have no idea what or who you are talking about lol. But I believe you. Only reason I even know about Retribution is because of reading all the hilarious posts about them on these forums.

I suppose that Joel Gertner counted as a member. After the Dudleys left, Sign Guy became Lou E. Dangerously.

Not really a stable but Mr. Fuji's roster of heels dwindled down to just Yokozuna, though he did briefly manage Crush during his heel run.

In Toryumon Japan, The Italian Connection dwindled from 7 members at its peak down to 2 in the end. At the stable's peak (roughly in order of how high on the card they were) it was Milano Collection A.T., YOSSINO, brother YASSHI, Condotti Shuji, Berlinetta Boxer, and Pescatore Yagi. Well, the first thing to hurt the stable was Milano losing a match for the Ultimo Dragon Gym Title that he really needed to win. Then Milano and YOSSINO started turning the stable face, but YASSHI and Shuji wanted to stay heel, and Boxer and Yagi sided with them. In the end, Shuji lead a breakaway faction and everyone but Milano and YOSSINO left the stable. ItaCon added Anthony W. Mori (who also had a stable collapse from underneath him) as a third man, and they struggled along as a 3 man faction until YOSSINO turned on them and joined the Blood Generation stable. Milano subsequently left the promotion and went to NJPW.

I didn't realize the FBI had so many incarnations going from a stable in ECW then reduced to a trio in WWE before becoming a tag team when Chuck Palumbo got drafted to Raw in 2004. A revolving door of wrestlers either joining or leaving even when they transitioned into the indies.
