{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Poor Nadine, I liked her {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}I did too. Unfortunately, people seem to have a short life expectancy, when they're around Jake, Devon & Lexy.

Chucky is so sadistic.... {Spoiler}{Spoiler} the brain bleaching was a ruse and being forced to watch hours of violence didn't affect him at all.
The plan was kind of convoluted...exorcise one Chucky who is still a violent sociopath, so the Chucky who is still a violent sociopath in Nica can take over. Okay. "Chucky Prime," but still...
And "I don't care if you send me to hell, I'm from Jersey!"

I do believe good Chucky was genuine around the edges for a while with his regular self-buried somewhere in the middle. And somehow the real Chucky managed to take hold again.

Didn't know "Lexy" played Dolly Parton in her TV movies.

Loved tonight's Season Finale. I'm going to be in Chucky withdrawal for almost a year until Season 3 (there better be a season 3 anyways or I riot as it's my favorite show on TV).

I completely missed the last 3 weeks of this. I loved the past few weeks of this. I'd recommend catching up on it if you're a fan of the show.

Interesting end to the season. Feels like Mancini really wants that second chance at seed of chucky. If there's a season 3 I really hope Devon Sawa gets to play another character. I thought he's been great on the series. And it's usually a dumb trope but I hope Nadinr has a twin. I loved her character

Devin Sawa is to this what Bruce Campbell was to Spider-Man

Very interested on where the Chucky & Caroline team goes next season(great reveal at the end, btw)! Also, with it looking like Tiffany is dead, is Nica gonna team up with Jake, Devon, Lexy & Miss Fairchild, to hunt down Chucky & rescue Caroline? Finally, some great kills, with Chucky slicing Michelle in half, before Lexy returned the favor, by slicing his face up & that security guard being electrocuted/burned alive, was also brutal. Glen & Glenda transferring their souls back into the doll was pretty sad...though Billy Boyd returning was neat. Very enjoyable end to the season!

Phew, fully caught up, rushed through it a bit more than I planned after watching the movies as wanted to avoid spoilers. {Spoiler}Really enjoyed the season as a whole, though found the whole exorcism thing a bit drawn out and probably the weakest part, seemed like it was done mostly to get the Exorcist references in there, and it's not even centered around Brad Dourif's character from the franchise.
Thought the format overall worked really well to emphasise one of Chucky's strengths, how he tears peoples' lives down from around them both through the actual murders of people they love as well as the plausible deniability getting them blamed for it. Getting to see more of the consequences for the characters without makes a series a perfect fit. Lexy in particular with her trauma and addiction was really well developed as a character. Considering how much of a cliche her character started as, her growth has been really fun to watch.
Also loved how all the movies tied in, those little moments with Kyle and Andy echoing parts of the first movies (and their happy ending intercut with Child's Play 2's - how long that'll last with Chucky still alive, I guess we'll find out), the reintroduction of Glen and Glenda with possibly the most positive nonbinary representation I've ever seen in any form of media, not what I expected from a slasher series, and the brilliant casting of Lachlan Watson, perfect choice. Really hope they get another chance to play GG in the future, prefer them to the Billy Boyd incarnation even if it's good to see everyone making it back, it feels like a bit more of a status quo move? And then poor Nica, who's really gone through the ringer even more so than in the films, which is quite a task. Fiona Dourif's so good at playing both Nica and Chucky, and I'm kinda sad that with Chucky's soul being removed from her that we won't get to see any more of it.
I'm still kinda astounded that a show like this even exists. The first few episodes felt like it was going for a slasher-themed take on the Stranger Things formula, but instead we've got a real oddity that stands out next to all other media, a show that features two gay teenagers as the only real romance, that requires about 30 years worth of lore to understand every detail, and goes so far beyond even some of the most notorious slasher films in terms of gore (like, it's hard to believe how tame Childs Play 3 was in comparison when you consider the bad press it got), particularly when it comes to child victims. While kids in the films usually end up with a lot of trauma, other than the bleak off-screen fate mentioned for Alice in Cult, the little kids usually get out alive, but here we've had a whole mess of children slaughtered over the course of two seasons.
It's such an surreal and brilliant show, and I'm glad that Don Mancini's been able to tie everything together into this love letter to the whole franchise.

Not having seen Seed..., I didn't know the original form of Glen/Glenda had a British accent. So it makes sense that one of the twins (forget) would break out in the accent sometimes. Thought they were just doing a Sherlock Holmes impersonation, but now I understand the reference.
