Wait....Bull Buchanan was around until 2003? Then again, I quit watching by the summer of 2002. I don't seem to remember him at all in 2002, or really after The Right to Censor disbanded and turned on Richards for being a hypocrite. I only remember two renditions of his character; one, being the bodyguard/protege of Big Boss Man in early 2000, and then his greatest claim to fame, as being the second member of The Right to Censor. After they split and the Invasion angle started gaining momentum, I didn't even see him at all. In fact, I was going to start a thread on that tonight, the whole alternate history if the RTC never disbanded and were around during The Invasion and how would they fit in to some of the storylines. Bull had avery brief run as Cena's sidekick in late '02, early '03 and was called B 2. Oh my god. This seems like a pretty bad idea and I bet this team didn't last that long. It looks so....lame.....sort of like John Cena. Looking at this, I'm glad I stopped watching when I did. Thanks for posting this. This looks absolutely dreadful and a horrible idea at best.

Someone mentioned the Bushwhackers and that’s one that always surprises me. I remember thinking by ‘92 that it was getting about time to move on.

I know we’re talking mostly about in-ring employees but Carlos Cabrera was with WWE/F for 29 years.

Whilst it wasn't THE best thing going at that time, this combination did actually work quite well and was pretty entertaining.

I mean it did give John Cena time to ruin Bull Buchanan's life after his wife left him, his rabid dog gave him rabies, lost his money, and job
In all seriousness... Bull not a bad promo. Not Austin or the Rock levels but said what he needed to, clearly with emotion in front of a large crowd. I bet it was his accent that he never got promo time.

Fatu was there from 1992 through early 1998 (if you count the Sultan gimmick), and returned in 1999 and lasted into 2004-5.

Someone mentioned the Bushwhackers and that’s one that always surprises me. I remember thinking by ‘92 that it was getting about time to move on. I always really liked Bushwhackers. I thought they should have had more spots like in Rumbles or Survivor Series over random guys WWF fans didn't even know. They were probably last really relevant in early 1992 as it was the end of them making most PPVs since their debut. They did Survivor Series 93 and Rumble 95 and I *think* that was it. They were around until August or Sept 1996. They were pretty much married to the Beverly Brothers all of 1992 to early 93. Fatu was there from 1992 through early 1998 (if you count the Sultan gimmick), and returned in 1999 and lasted into 2004-5. It wouldn't surprise me if he was under contract that whole time and they just didn't have anything for him. Maybe he worked house shows or dark matches. Jim C told a story about Vince calling Fatu to the office, no specific time mentioned but I'm guessing 97-98. The intent was to let him go but he brought Afa and Sika and Vince wound up giving them all jobs. Obviously that wasn't his intent but he seems to have a soft spot for the family. I'm guessing the "job" was related to Afa's training center in PA.

I still find it weird to think that Rick Martel was still in WCW in 1998.
Hes not a guy I think of when I think of the Monday Night Wars.

It seems weird seeing Blackjack Mulligan on cards around ’85 and ‘86.

Brad Armstrong was in WCW from 1984 (if we count GCW) until nearly the end. He even made it to the first Russo PPV (Halloween Havoc 99, against Berlyn).

It worked out well in the end, but if Mark Henry didn't renew his contract when he did, he would've gone down in history as another overpushed hoss. He was signed with the WWF in 1996 to a 10 year, 2 million dollar contract. The company later regretted it and gave him embarrassing storylines to get him to quit(hence the Sexual Chocolate gimmick), then tried to push him as an angry big man, that didn't get over.
Renewed his contract in 2006, where they continued to push him as that same angry big man, still didn't get over. Then he started picking up steam in 2008 and became the ECW champion. Then he debuted on RAW and defeated then WWE champion Randy Orton, and that DID get over, but WWE had to cool him down(hence my theory that they hate their audience and money) before they finally gave in 2011 and gave him a "Thank You" World Heavyweight championship run.
So yeah The World's Strongest Man was employed with the WWF/E for like 20 years, but only like 5 of them(if you wanna be nice) were of any use.
