Gang, I highly recommend checking out the Ring of Honor 'Planet Peacock' two disc DVD set that ROH put out that covered his first three years in the company. His was a rise that was super fun to watch in real time as well as revisit as the collection has the best/important matches as well as every segment and promo - one of the most comprehensive and fun watches the company ever put out. Nobody else in ROH's entire history ever got as over as he did as fast as he did. Also, I think Dalton is back to peak performance now. The reduced schedule from the pandemic and dark ROH period really seems to have been what he needed to heal and recalibrate. Push him to the moon. I also recommend checking out that DVD set. I'm glad more people are finding out about him. I said in another thread that he was presented like a megastar, and just works on a larger scale. I hope this is the start of big things for him.

He's been killing it on Dark/Elevation as well if you want to see more matches and don't feel like tracking down DVDs
AEW is my first real introduction to him and BOY am I a fan now

He's still wearing a back brace under his gear, which makes sense. Although I don't know why he hasn't switched to some elaborate leotard to help cover it up.

I can definitely see why the Network loves the guy, he's money and exactly the kind of act they love. (They also love Darby and Jade Cargill, so I think one of their things is just loving people who someone flipping channels might see and think "huh, they look interesting", for better or worst.)

I still remember hearing people say their first ROH exposure to Castle was having friends/other fans tell them "Ok, so this guy Dalton Castle is on the show. Before his entrance is over, he'll be your favorite wrestler."
No lies detected.

He has one of the best entrances in wrestling history. And considering what happened to his back, it's incredible that he's still as good a wrestler as he is.
I'd love to see him more in AEW and once ROH becomes its own thing again, he should be one of the pillars.

A gentle reminder that one of Dalton Castle's boys is Hiroshi Tanahashi.

Castle is great. Fun gimmick, a unique presentation, and can go in the ring. He even made Jake Hager the most entertaining he's been in... forever? Jake Hager is always at his best as a big dumb jock goof, and DON'T TOUCH MY HAT was no exception Right up there with the Swagger Soaring Eagle and "Chris Jeri-Goat" I keep saying it but the fact Swagger doesn't start every statement with "Duh" like Moose in Archie is a crime. Yeah I remember seeing Dalton Castle on DA ROH and a fan since I first saw the entrance.

First time seeing Castle was as Ashley Remington in Chikara years ago. So glad he seems to be close to where he was before his injury. Hope he becomes a regular in either AEW or ROH

He’s incredible, man.
From his first appearance in AEW (however many months ago on rampage or dynamite?) cat just belonged. There were so many character moments from the dude in this last match on Tuesday alone. Some dudes literally have 0 in a match and Dalton f***ing milks anything and everything for what it’s worth.
And physically, in ring, dudes fine. Like I say this with no disrespect meant, but he belongs in AEW, not ROH.

The wings up part of his entrance is pretty much perfect for a Dynamite/Rampage open or a quick cut during an AEW commercial. Immediate "whoa this guy must be a big deal" vibes in a way you don't get from too many entrances nowadays.

Just saw the match with Jericho. I am a now a bonafide mark for Dalton Castle.
Gonna echo the statements of others and I hope he gets used more on AEW rather than ROH.

The biggest question though is...
has Brunch been canceled?

Also I first saw him as Ashley Remington in CHIKARA (well Dalton Castle figuring out how to become a rich lad turning into Ashley) and thought he was amazing...
then I also saw his regular RoH work and it was also amazing.
