Apparently it was Punk's birthday yesterday too. This had to have been deliberate. First WWE fires him on his wedding day and now THIS?!

CM Punk probably: “In all my years of conquest, violence, slaughter, it was never personal. But I'll tell you now, what I'm about to do to your stubborn, annoying little wrestling promotion... I'm gonna enjoy it. Very, very much“

Maybe they're not gonna be called The Elite anymore and making EVPs: Extremely Violent People their official name going forward to spite Punk.

TK better be kissing their feet for coming back at all. If I were them I'd be pissed a dude was dogging us at a Scrum and while he was calling us worthless, and shitty at our jobs, my boss was sitting next to him nodding yes. Granted it could have been TK being his awkward self just nodding along, but on the outside it looked like he was nodding in agreement since he didn't nod at everything, and most of the time sat their like an abused spouse afraid to say anything else. Not to mention how Tony was (supposedly) CM Punk's puppet for months, had his ear, and was trying to wrest control of the company away from the dudes who started it. I'd want to be like "f*** you dude, watch us debut at the Rumble in January." I get they helped start the company, and want to see it through, but the reactionary side of me would want to jump ship. All that being said I did dig the video package. Whomever did it did a good job. I truly do not believe Khan agreed about anything Punk said about the Elite and was just shell shocked about what was actually happening Given the fallout, and how it seems Punk and Ace are being handled, he took The Elite's side and took it pretty quickly. If Punk was in his ear at any time trying to wrestle away control, it didn't work, and Punk pissed it away anyway I feel like Tony just also gets short changed a lot and is just labeled as someone who could be manipulated just because he loved CM Punk in his younger days... a business is still a business, and Punk also learned that very quickly with the shit he pulled I'm glad it looks like unlike Punk, The Elite's relationship hasn't been damaged with the company, and hopefully when they return, we move on quickly.

Dude looked completely taken back by those comments and looked like he was trying to figure out how to respond to all that bullshit. Looking at him, I could almost hear the Kill Bill sirens going off in his head.

I saw someone describe Tony Khan's reaction to Punk at the scrum as "someone watching their personal and professional relationship with a hero disintegrate in real time." And I think that's pretty accurate.

I get a lot of customers at my job who just start going off in crazy unhinged rants and often I don’t know what to do other than just smile and nod.

Apparently it was Punk's birthday yesterday too. This had to have been deliberate. Also explains that weird scoop about Punk’s dog allegedly getting hurt in the melee.

The greatest reintroduction of a character was when Pee-wee Herman opened the VMAs and said “Heard any good jokes lately?” It acknowledged what happened, it was a great line and then it was over. Paul Reubens and Pee-wee have been fine every since. Just do that. Make a joke and then move on. Do not make another corny insider angle. Oh the first BTE back will 10000000% knock that out in the cold open Kenny : "Bite any good dogs, lately?"
