Not on him. He threw some dimes to receivers who were flat out bums and dropped them, and the playbook only let him throw like 12 times No one's getting open, no one on their staff is really a good receiver, it's why they have the least WR Yards in the league The only decent one they had is currently injured, Trey Burks.

The Patriots need to spend their upcoming bye week figuring out what the hell they did to Mac Jones, and righting the ship fast before this sophomore slump sinks what was a potentially promising career.
The Patriots have gone out of their way to submarine Mac Jones' development since the final whistle of last January's playoff throttling in Buffalo. After offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels accepted the Raiders' head coaching gig - taking three offensive assistants with him to Las Vegas - the Patriots did NOTHING to fill that coaching void, instead replacing McDaniels and the three assistants who departed with Matt Patricia and Joe Judge, neither of whom had ever been offensive play-callers in the NFL.
They also toyed around with the offensive line, swapping Isaiah Wynn and Trent Brown from left to right tackl, trading Shaq Mason, and starting a rookie at guard in week one. And as the season starts, Kendrick Bourne - one of Jones' favorite and most reliable target in 2021 - seemingly gets benched for no discernable reason, removing a sure-handed receiver from the field.
Then, Jones gets hurt against Baltimore, backup Bailey Zappe comes in and has a solid two games, and because Jones struggled to start the season through little fault of his own, the fans are clamoring for Zappe, and it culminates in that embarrassing Monday Night game, when the Foxboro fans essentially boo Mac Jones off the field and were chanting for Zappe within minutes of the start of the game.
So, if you look at the scoreboard yesterday, you'd think, "Hey, the Patriots won 26-3, what's to complain about?" Well, they had one drive that ended in a touchdown and it started at the Indianapolis 2. Every other drive ended in a field goal or punt. Their best drive of the game was a nine-play, 42-yard slog that culminated in a 43-yard field goal.
They need to right the ship fast, because they can't keep getting away with these games where they have one drive that ends in a touchdown, and the rest settle for field goals or punts. They have Minnesota, Buffalo (twice), Cincinnati, and Miami remaining on the schedule. Field goals aren't going to beat those teams. So they need to break out the heavy-duty, industrial-strength glue and figure out how to put Mac Jones back together, because they've spent the better part of the last 11 months doing nothing but breaking him.

In fairness to Jones yesterday, there were two things that worked against him yesterday. 1) The Colts have been putrid lately, but that defense is legit. 2) Because the Colts have been putrid lately, the smart play was to minimize risks as turnovers were the main way the Colts were going to be a threat yesterday. That meant that you hamstring the offense by playing extremely conservatively, which played right into the Colts' defensive strengths.

Franch Reich has been fired, Jeff Saturday is the interim coach
I'm more shocked Josh McDaniels has survived over two coaches now...

Not retaining the post-Gruden interim guy was such a boneheaded move. I know he鈥檚 not the sexy name, but he took a disfunctional disaster disaster and did what he did. Should have been a no-brainer to bring him back.

Him now rotting on the Packers as the Special Teams Coach just feels wrong, this dude should still be a head coach somewhere... maybe even the Packers lol

DeSean Jackson still being able to play at this level is crazy, but I'm just waiting for when he gets injured in like 4 more plays... it always happens to him

This is the greatest development in football. Instead of listening to Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, I'm listening to Eli give Peyton shit over and over again while learning more about football.

BY GOD. JETS WIN! JETS WIN! JETS WIN IT AGAINST BUFFALO. Gotta be the most significant Jets win in 5 years (or more.) A Jets fan can correct me if I'm wrong. To answer your question its probably the biggest win since 2015 when the Jets beat the Pats to set up a win and in game against Buffalo(which they lost so it makes that pats win less meaningful). And before that you'd have to go back to the win against the Pats in the 2010 playoffs. Or maybe some fans would argue that the last real significant Jets win was in 2020 against the Rams setting up T-Law to be a Jag.

Man, if I weren't a Ravens fan I'd never watch their games. I imagine they're sooo f***ing boring to watch to other people.
Defense is REALLY good now at least.

Nah at least with Lamar there鈥檚 always the threat of a spectacular play, that in itself alleviates some boredom. Defense looking strong with the addition of Roquan. Could be classic Ravens strong if everyone stays healthy
