I remember the Simpson's Sting episode and Sting coming to dig Bart out of the hole. As a kid I thought, "That doesn't look like Sting, there's no face paint!"
Reading the wikipedia for that episode now, they originally wanted Bruce Springsteen as the good digger. I wouldn't have known who he was until hearing the "Born in the USA" song on the Wrestlemania 1998 anthology VHS and looking it up. As a kid I only knew of actors and shows before or after any wrestling program.

Next up was Sting’s 40th Birthday Celebration. Super excited, two wrestling things back to back!! Some f***ing concert was on!!!! Easy come, easy go. |
