Boone sucks, again throwing games away with his crappy bullpen decision, 1 run game use you best guys you idiot. I understand it is down 2 or more runs, but 1 run I can't stand that type of managing.

Boone cost us another one. I keep telling you guys, the day they fire Aaron Boone, is the day the Yankees start a 10 game winning streak, look at what happened last year with the Phillies.

At this point harping on Boone getting fired is just gonna raise your blood pressure. Every Yankees fan knows that the only way Boone is shown the door is if Cashman gets the boot or cash uses Boone as a sacrificial lamb to save his job. Otherwise we're stuck watching a Muppet for a manager

The sport is finally seemingly on the upswing after almost a decade and a half of sliding toward irrelevancy, and it's because of exciting future stars like Elly De La Cruz.

I didn't become a baseball fan as a kid because of crusty old managers like Kevin Kennedy and Tom Kelly, I became a baseball fan because of Ken Griffey Jr.'s highlight-reel catches and effortlessly cool swing, Randy Johnson hitting triple digits with his fastball, and Mo Vaughn hitting balls into another zip code. This generation of fans has those future (and current stars), and baseball should be shining a spotlight on them, not telling them to play the game with their heads down.

Baseball is atrocious about that. Trying to police younger guys on what they wear, how they react, how much personality they show. I don't know how many times Acuna has gotten hit, but it's a lot and it's not a coincidence. Elly will probably get plunked a lot too. Bunch of antiques who don't know how time works.

Boone also has this team 9 games above 500 in the toughest division in baseball with its best position player injured for the foreseeable future, a pitching staff rife with injuries and dumb decisions, washed out position players not playing up to their expectations, journeymen, and minor leaguers filling in for all the injuries.

If anything, you can argue that Aaron Boone is way overperforming as manager given the circumstances.

Yankees decisions just makes no sense, you could have easily have arranged it for Cole or Rodon to pitch tonight, but no you have to save them for the Cubs, and have Sevi pitching batting practice again. Giving another important game away.

Cubs vs Yankees this weekend, split the series against the Brewers, Yankees could put the nail in the Cubs coffin to determine if we decide all value must go and trade away everyone, or if the Cubs will be in this thing, I feel this could also be the weekend for the Yankees as well that will decide if the Yankees decide to sell. I will give the Yankees Cody Bellinger and Patrick Wisdom if the Yankees can please return my forever first basemen Rizzo to Chicago!

The Yankees are not selling especially with the Angels falling apart. It is now 7 teams for 6 spots.

But two Sevi starts in a row that you are going to have position players pitch, meanwhile Schmitt and German have to battle for rotation spots, while Sevi gets an automatic spot, if the Blue Jays can do what they did with their pitcher, the Yankees can do the same, if Sevi doesn't figure things out, get him out of the rotation. The Yankees can never get on a big winning streaks with Sevi breaking the momentum every start.

I don't know what the hell happened to Severino, but he's been horrendous since coming back from the IL. Maybe they rushed him back too quick because of how depleted their rotation was between injuries and German's suspension.

Was it his turn in the rotation? They aren't going to disorganize the rotation for an early July game

Well if Cole pitched Saturday, he would have pitched tonight, but they gave him an extra day for no dam good reason, and Rodon pitched a rehab start on Saturday so he could have pitched tonight. It makes no sense, you have a 4 game series against the Orioles and you can't arrange for Cole to pitch in one of the games. And this is not all on Boone, this is on Cashman and everyone under him. Bunch of idiots.
