I'm tempted to just make a separate Bluesky thread so we can keep stuff about that site separate from the sputtering hellscape that is Xwitter? just brought it up with the other mods. ok made a thread for bluesky/threads/mastodon to post your links to, so going forward this thread can go back to being about the dumpster fire that is twitter. with musk's current involvement in politics there is a high probability this thread may get perma-locked in the future due to it. **edit** quoted a post to move it then forgot to delete the quote, sorry if it caused a panic. |

I'm pretty certain I'm done with Twitter now, I just wish I had the guts to nuke my account completely. At the minute, it's just locked and gathering dust.

I saw something similar on Threads, where they said "you know Twitter has gotten bad when a guy whose stories include a bullying victim massacring her school, a family getting trapped in their car by a rabid dog, a celebrity being kidnapped and tortured by a psychotic fan, and more than a few instances of children being horribly killed has to quit because he thinks it's too messed up to stay."
